Premier League Gameweek 37

Who says you are gonna beat Palace?

Eh? We just need a draw (and it's most likely to be a dead game anyway).

Do that and Spurs need 8 goal combination win from the Man. City/Sheffield United games so most likely one goal win v City and then 7 goal win at Sheffield United.

Guess a draw tomorrow night would be the worst result to Spurs fans. Their hopes for 4th would be ended while handing the title to their rivals. Both win and defeat would be good results for different reasons :D

Yeah think it's more realistic for you to lose at Palace than draw and Spurs catching you on GD.

No. If we'd lost 3-1 as looked odds on they could've made 4th with a draw v Man. City, us losing to Palace and a six goal swing.

Now they have to be Man. City to have any chance. If they beat Man. City 1-0 and we then have another 3-3 at Palace then I think they'd have to beat Sheffield United by a seven goal margin on the final day.

I know Sheffield United are one of the worst prem teams we've seen for a while but Spurs simply aren't playing well enough in final third to win by that margin if they had to. And they have to beat Man. City first which again they have done in the past but the top teams have been exposing them pretty comfortably in last six weeks and don't see that changing tomorrow.
Congratz on finishing in the top 4. I have many family members and work mates who are Villains.

Palace don't do dead games under Glasner,City will do the job for you tomorrow anyway so will be academic

I wouldn't take that as a given. Palace have been one of the best teams in the league in the past five weeks or so and are looking fairly fresh. Villa on the other hand have looked leggy for the past month and have had an extra game mid-week.

Most likely City win tomorrow, however if I were a betting man, I would have Palace beating Villa on the final day.

Palace is a bad place to go these days. Glasner has completely transformed them and you're more likely to lose there.

Better hope that Tottenham either lose or draw against Man City.

Yeah hope Spurs take it to last day but can't see it when they are facing a City in title race mode

If city draw tonight then it will come down to GD last game of the season. I’d really like that to happen and Arsenal pip them like city did to us by GD.

Funny how Arsenal have to rely on their rivals to win the league when it was in their own hands. If only they beat villa. They’ll be kicking themselves.

Kinda crazy to learn that City have never scored a league goal at the new Spurs stadium, in four matches, all losses.

That was all pre Ange-ball though. Conte, Mourinho and Nuno.

There's absolutely no way that with both Man City needing a win AND Spurs also needing a win, Spurs keep a clean sheet tonight.

That would be funny, only if Man City absolutely batter West Ham on the final day and pip Arsenal though.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if West Ham give City a tough game. City have often had to grind out for the win in similar circumstances in the past. (Kompany screamer vs Leicester, comeback from 0-2 down vs Villa, and that infamous AGUEROOOOO)

Arsenal fans set off lots of fireworks outside City's team hotel last night at 2am.

The City players didn't arrive until this morning...

Arsenal even bottled this.

Just checked in on Spuds FightingCock forum, only 26% want them to win tonight.
If they didn't have a shot at CL football I'd understand. Not a Londoner so just guessing that I'm underestimating the hatred.

Feels like a match Haaland will miss around 20 great chances and cost them the match and title.

Really hope so. If city score early I think they’ll put them to bed in the first half. The longer spurs stay in the game the more nervous city will get

West Ham being from London aswell will not want Arsenal to win the league, they’ll roll over.

Yeah sadly the most likely outcome is city going ahead by points and goal difference tonight

Could have done with city playing a team that needs a point or something to stay in the league on the last day. But since the bottom 3 have been bad there all relegated already pretty much.

Hoping spurs players are motivated and want to actually play CL football next season. If they beat city I think they get 4th as I can see palace beating villa.

As dumb as it is for Spurs i can understand it but fecking West Ham ?

I don't think teams roll over, unless they're United. 6-7 years ago, when City needed a win at Goodison late in the season to ensure they stay ahead of Liverpool, they faced a very difficult test from Everton, whose fans had also wanted their team to lose. Unfortunately, I don't think Spurs players will throw this match at all.

That says a lot about Spurs fans on the fightingcock or is it the wimpycock. They will the same fans who complain that such and such players is not putting in a real effort or is not committed enough. I am sure in the stands it will be different, but most of all the players on the pitch will want to win, and that is mostly what matters.

If you had to swap positions, would you want to take points off City to hand Spurs a league title?
