Premier League Gameweek 37

There hasn't been more than 7 minutes of play during these 9 minutes.

They are breaking records. The coach is on his way to being known as the goat. As much as SAF was Darth Vader to us he still was the man. How in the efn love of christ could you possibly want Pep to get in that convo is just bizzare.

Let’s face it, there’s really nothing magical or impressive about their success. Unless you’re impressed by cheating and spending more money than any other club ever.

Loving the commentator's determination to cram as many Duran Duran puns in as possible. 'Goals on film'

Doesn't change a massive amount anyway, Spurs were always likely to need to win both games with Villa's goal difference.

Felt like Villa deserved to win that. Defensively just a mess.

Fun game to watch. Something tells me Tom Hanks will be back.

Villa finish away at Palace. That could be tricky. Spurs have to win though tomorrow

Villa's goal difference is big, but Spurs have to play the shittest team in history. Could easily destroy that goal difference against Sheffield United.

Could be in for a nice final day potentially with the League on the line AND the 4th Place too

So with Villa's gd advantage, Spurs need to win their last 2 games and hope Villa lose away at Palace.

At least Spurs still have an incentive to win tomorrow but if I'm a Spurs player I'm thinking "do I want to be the Spurs player known for winning the league for arsenal? Do I want to be the Spurs player whose name is sung by Arsenal fans for the rest of time?!"

I can see them chucking it to be honest!

Spurs beating City to essentially hand Arsenal the title and then lose out on 4th on goal difference would probably be one, if not the most, Spursy thing ever.

They'll hand Arsenal the title on goal difference while losing Top 4 themselves on GD. I genuinely think half that stadium will be dreading Spurs showing up tomorrow

Diaby is basically our Nunez.

His runs are fantastic and his close control on occasions can be excellent but also one of those frustrating types who just plays at 100mph and can't slow down his play to be more composed infront of goal.

The shot right at the end was good, the ones in the first half were horrible.

Proud of 'em though. The draw also changes a fair bit as losing by two goals would've meant Spurs could've just draw tomorrow and still had a good chance on final day. Now they have to win and that seems pretty remote given what is at stake for Man. City so to me we are 95% in for CL.

They produce a miracle result tomorrow it's game on,just remember how many teams have thumped Sheff Utd at Bramall Lane this season.

Agree. Think tomorrow will be a draw or win for City. Can't see a Spurs win now.

Well that's still a good point for Villa as Spurs will now have to beat City to still have a chance. Don't think GD will decide as that would mean Villa drawing at Palace so they'd still have +20 goal difference while Spurs have +12 so basically would have to beat City by 2 and Sheffield United by 6 or City by 1 goal and then Sheffield United by 7. As bad as Sheff. United have been that's still a big ask and Sheffield will want to have decent last game at home before going back to Championship. If they had Kane and prime Son I could see it.

Villa are in comfortable position but it's not over so tomorrow night should be really interesting. The fact that City haven't won at Spurs in PL since October 2018 and never at new stadium (in league of course) just adds to it.

Yeah you were a mess at the back. But game felt finished to me at 3-1 before MacAllister's mistake that resulted in Villa 2nd goal.

Yeah Mac Allister mistake let them back in

They had to win anyway

No. If we'd lost 3-1 as looked odds on they could've made 4th with a draw v Man. City, us losing to Palace and a six goal swing.

Now they have to be Man. City to have any chance. If they beat Man. City 1-0 and we then have another 3-3 at Palace then I think they'd have to beat Sheffield United by a seven goal margin on the final day.

I know Sheffield United are one of the worst prem teams we've seen for a while but Spurs simply aren't playing well enough in final third to win by that margin if they had to. And they have to beat Man. City first which again they have done in the past but the top teams have been exposing them pretty comfortably in last six weeks and don't see that changing tomorrow.

Who says you are gonna beat Palace?

If Spurs are 1-0 up tomorrow with 30 mins left there'll be a riot if they don't roll over.
