Regardless of the rule, I have no idea how some are arguing that the ref played the advantage - I never saw a signal for a foul from the ref or linesman. The officials seemingly missed the infringement but Newcastle managed to score. Otherwise, I'm certain TAA would have received a card of sorts, whether yellow or red, though probably yellow to avoid the double jeopardy situation (goal and sending off).
As painful as it is to admit, they do play nice football.

Given the the PL will likely lead the UEFA coefficients for the second season in a row, I think it says that the English sides are among the elite but that there are other great sides in other leagues. More specifically that the PL has the strongest top 6 but that Spain still has the very best sides in Barca and Real.
