Why would it be a red if the ref allowed the goal to stand? You can’t have it both ways.
Because intentionally blocking a clear goal with your hand is a red card offense.

that is the sort of thing that would happen against us. Someone scoring their first goal of the season/first goal for their clubCouldn't have come at a better time
What's the rule there? He didn't prevent a goal so I don't think it can be a red card.
Should defo be a yellow regardless... Which makes me think the the ref didn't see... Which is dreadful

or blame it on the Fog on the TyneKlopp will deflect afterwards by talking about the wind or the pitch.
This, just because he gave advantage doesn't mean a previous foul is ignored.Lucky lucky Liverpool again.
Should have been goal and red card.
Blatant hand ball.
He did prevent a goal. That the rebound went in should be irrelevant. His handball initially stopped a goal.
Deliberating stopping a goal illegally is a red card. Same for hand ball as it is tackling down a player in front of goal.Deliberate handball isn't a red card folks.
Not if the referee allows play to go on and gives the goal. Why is this so hard to understand?Because intentionally blocking a clear goal with your hand is a red card offense.
Red and a pen. You can't play advantage on red card offences.

Thought it was if it stopped a goal.Deliberate handball isn't a red card folks.
Why isn't that a red card still? Just because he put the ball in doesn't mean it was not a deliberate handball to deny the goal.

Didn’t see it but yes you’re right. Deliberate foul for a goalscoring attempt, yesDeliberate handball isn't a red card folks.

shhhh, too soonRafa can become a legend for non Liverpool fans tonight
You don’t get both, that’s not how it works. You either get the goal, or you get the red and a penalty.Just because the rebound resulted in a goal doesn't mean the goal wasn't denied by handball at the line.
Jesus, it's not that hard to understand.
