Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

They have Spurs next

That is a key game. Son and Kane are clicking which isn’t good news for them
Yeah, we need to go in exactly how we are with their games away to Spurs and Liverpool next.
If they both win then fair enough, its only a bonus for us anyway

Mousset and Zivkovic could come on and cause havoc on the break but I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Mousset has been on his holidays for a while now.

Leicester is much more solid at the back with three CBs with Tielemins not going too far forward and playing closer to Ndidi. Sheffield's fullbacks are playing poorly and haven't been at the races.

Mcgoldrick and Mcburnie are playing like they're back in the Championship which isn't good enough today

This is such a poor match of football. No one looks like doing anything much and Sheffield barely resemble a pro team.

Also it seems like a lot of people have high expectations/standards for us, we’re newly promoted remember ;)

It’s baffling how Chelsea lost 0-3 to Sheffield the other day

It's not Sheffield United are a very good football side, I have no idea what's up with them today which is why I asked if they're always like this away from home

This is hopefully a post to look back on with pleasure.

I hope so and that I am wrong. If we have more energy in the tank then I think we could maybe smash Leicester.
Rashford, Bruno, Greenwood and Martial can have fun against them.

That Southampton result is really going to cost us top four, isn't it? Leicester have looked great even without Maddison and 3 of their back 4.

It doesn't look great right now, but there's still half the game to go. Sheffield United can only get better and Leicester will start to get tired, too.

I'm trying to stay optimistic and praying that we haven't fecked it.

Mousset probably would have been better started with his energy & pace can hurt Leicester's slow defense.

I fear you might be right. Ultimately, if we do miss out, it will be because of an appalling first half of the season, but that Saints goal will stick in the memory.

Going to come down to the last day I think. Needing a win to get top 4. Very hard to call if Leicester is finding form.

Leicester have a half time lead and even if they win as long as we're within 2 points on the final day a win gets us top 4.

We were fecked in mid January.

No the first 5 months of the season will be what has really cost us mate. We've been in top 2 form since Bruno joined. That draw was soul destroying but in the context of the whole season it will be pre Christmas form that costs us top 4 if that's what happens.

We just have to stay in the hunt tonight.

Leicester and Chelsea have difficult games next game week, and we just need one of them to lose points for it to be positively in our own hands again.

Hope so but we have fecking West Ham again and that is never good at this stage of the season

Lundstram Fleck and Mousset  Come on we need to at least attempt something

To be positive, what is the goal difference?how much do have score tonight to past them

It is very tight and rather uncomfortable. But, alas, this is the position that we're in and we can only do our bit and hope that the others drop points. Leicester do look good, but I also think that's partly because Sheffield United look so tired, too. We'll see how the second half goes and then re-evaluate.

If it comes down to one game between us and Leicester, there's no reason why we can't beat them. We just have to pray that our defence don't shit the bed that day. I can see us going there and scoring two goals, but I expect us to concede, too.

I'm still optimistic that we will get top four, and if we have to go to Leicester and get a win, I think the team that we have can and will do it.
Of course, if Sheffield United come out and pump Leicester in the second half, then that just makes things a little/a lot easier for us.

Ole will not be sacked, regardless how much Caf want it.

Not this summer he won't, but if we fall at the final hurdle, his card will be marked. Two consecutive seasons outside the CL for the first time ever, Sancho move scrapped, a third wiped off the value of our biggest commercial deal - it would be the lowest point so far of the post-Ferguson era.
