Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

Not many in here have watched much of Sheffield United have they. This is a very standard approach from them. Sit back, soak up pressure and hit.

Leicester playing well though and it shows now...
Their direct play generally bodes well for them, but they've been utterly tripe in the opening 30 mins of this game even by the standards of their game plan.

Are Sheffield United normally this poor away from home? It's just occurred to me that most of the times I've seen them this season has been when they've been the home side

Lost just 4 aways all season, Man United, Man. City, Liverpool and Newcastle.

You'd think Sheffield United would exploit Leicester's two inexperienced fullbacks, considering the expansive football they play with their overlapping centre backs.

Course it does. It's the difference between us needing to beat them away, to not having to.
Huge.

Well yeah it means we can draw instead of not draw, but that would be the case anyway if we out score them in our next two games (which is likely)

Not by 3 goals necessarily. If they win 2 or 3-0 today, and pinch a one goal v Tottenham, that needs us to drill two teams.

We can all agree we hope either a water break or half time shake Sheff U up!

Can’t believe I’m sat here cheering on Sheffield United. Why can’t our squad just get the job done when they have chance rather than relying on other clubs.

Another unbeaten run that’s going to mean absolutely nothing by the end of the season. Just like it did under LVG and Mourinho.

They have Spurs next

That is a key game. Son and Kane are clicking which isn’t good news for them

Switching over to Everton v Villa now.

Leicester all over Sheff Utd.

This top 4 battle is switching up ridiculously. From us being absolute shoe ins, to now it's suddenly looking a little bit ropey.
How were we a shoe in? We didn't have the points in board, Leicester and Chelsea did

Sheffield just need to go 1-0 down at half time. Like Wolves yesterday and us the other day as long as it’s down to one goal margin you got a chance.

Yeah I was thinking this earlier. It's a disgrace we are relying on fecking Sheffield United and Bournemouth to beat Leicester. It's not exactly like they've been amazing either. They're on 60 points which is about right for them and that would usually give you Europa League football. Only reason why it's s Champions League play is cos everyone else around them has been shite including us. Doesn't make it any better mind.

If this goes to the last game against Leicester, we won’t get top 4. We’ll bottle it. Guaranteed.

Sheffield United's tactic of playing it long isn't really working. They've lost the ball so much when they do this. That Leicester corner just now came from a long cross-field ball that the Leicester player intercepted.

If Leicester win this and we screw
up again

That Southampton match was a must win.

Sheffield’s attack just hasn’t got going this half, the only positive is it’s 1-0.

they can turn this 2nd half!

Chelsea should be deducted points for allowing McGoldrick to score against them. Twice.
