Premier League Gameweek 35-37 + FA Cup semis

McBurnie's slow check back to pass backwards when he gets the ball is so painful. Every fecking time. Loses him the ball sometimes too he's one of those like Matic that plays in slow motion at times, except he has nowhere near the same quality on the ball

How were we a shoe in? We didn't have the points in board, Leicester and Chelsea did

We'd just come off drilling four consecutive 3 goal wins, and had Southampton home, Palace away., West Ham coming up.
Knowing the others would drop points.

The spirit on here was very positive.

But football doesn't work like this!

All it takes is one corner or free kick and Sheffield United are level. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they snatch something from this late on. I'm calling it: 1-1 draw.

Not by 3 goals necessarily. If they win 2 or 3-0 today, and pinch a one goal v Tottenham, that needs us to drill two teams.

We can all agree we hope either a water break or half time shake Sheff U up!

I think we'll make up the GD tonight!

Leicester have dropped a huge amount if points of late. They can't lose every game. Calm down you histrionic loonies.

McBurnie and McGoldrick may be game lads but they are just not good enough.

Expected Leciester to win . We gave Chelsea and Leciester a massive boost by once again choking when we had the chance to go above them and its going to be very difficult for us now

It's never positive on here.

The slightest setback and it's complete doom and gloom.

Sheffield United have feck all pace up top. Can we loan them Daniel James for the second half?

How Sheffield Utd ever score more than 1 in a game is startling.
Those recent 3-0s say a lot on how crap the opposition are, and we drew 2-2 there too!

Thery're a workaday physical team. Like a slightly more attractive Burnley

Wes Morgan and Ryan Bennett vs David McGoldrick and Oli McBurnie.

4th v 7th.

The Premier League, ladies and gentlemen.

We just have to stay in the hunt tonight.

Leicester and Chelsea have difficult games next game week, and we just need one of them to lose points for it to be positively in our own hands again.

All of a sudden starting to worry about top 4 now, was so pumped a week ago

We drew 3-3 there mate but you are right on point with them

It's classic forum, too high and too low.

After the last win, we were gonna win the league next year, after the last draw, we're not even gonna make top 4.

it's in our own hands
it's in our own hands
were fifthchester
it was in our own hands

Leicester have been surprisingly good at squeezing and pressing those wide areas so far, haven't allowed the Blades to put together any of their usual incisive passing moves between the wingbacks, wide CMs and wide CBs. Those moves were the key to beating Spurs and Chelsea

We looked shattered at the end of the Chelsea game, was hoping for some changes today to keep everyone fit. No real surprises here

1-0 at halftime is a blessing because Sheffield United have not been in that at all. They're still in it, though. But, god, they need some pace. Everything is slow. Leicester in fairness do look good, but they've not done enough with the amount of the ball that they've had. It's a weird, slow, laboured game.

It has bottling in the last game written all over it. A win to secure it and it ends with a 1-1 draw.

It will come down to us having to get a result v Leicester I reckon

If United beat Palace today it might not be the case.

United need to score by 2 goals in each game, and if Leicester lose to Spurs then United could win, draw or lose vs Leicester and still get 4th on Goal Difference.

Have people on here saying top 4 is gone because Leicester have gone 1-0 up against Sheff utd still with over an hour to go.

The draw on Monday was gutting and I understand people being nervous, I'm a bit anxious about it too.

But some people on here are laughably negative and miserable, it's like they relish a chance to moan.

Mcgoldrick has given up playing football after getting his premier league goal.

Best I've seen Leicester since lockdown unfortunately
Our dropping points on Monday was just the gift they needed. But I always fancied them for this game. It's Spurs which they'll find to be a challenge and we have to win both our games of course.
