Premier League Gameweek 34-35

You just know if Arsenal needed a goal there, they'd have played till 101 minutes.

They’d be a lot easier to root for without that tool Piers Morgan and the clowns from Arsefam Tv
Most arsenal fans hate those clowns too, especially morgan, I literally never spoke to an arsenal fan who likes morgan.

Forest-City on one screen, Forest's twitter timeline on the other. I'm ready.

Time for the refs to make a statement. Forest need some gifts, City need to have some calls against them. No Haaland or Foden so lost points will be directed at those absentees.

If they need to pause it and get the lines out, it’s not obvious in any wild imagination
You are bringing subjectivity into it when we need to reduce it in the game.
Football has move on from just what we watch and enjoy, livelihood and money is now involved. It needs to be fair or try to be fair.
I feel we are going in cycles here but I believe you catch my drift

Offsides are more matter of fact though. The only surprise is that they’ve take a season or 2 to introduce the semi automated offsides, again, that will be matter of fact, and at least there should be no need for the long stoppages for line drawing.
They’re a matter of fact but it’s not worth it if you’re looking for fractions, or if a toe is offside. Would say the same about Coventrys winner against United.

Haven’t read up on the semi auto offside thing but hopefully it’s something which will improve things. Understandably I have my doubts with how they’ve introduced literally everything else

Well you’re right about the money thing. But it’s overruling common sense in my opinion. They’re happy enough to cite “common sense” when explaining why they didn’t send off player X in an emotional game, or a semi final, but won’t use it for other things

Interesting to see how City fare without Foden and Haaland, who seem to have scored all their goals this season. Weird not to keep Foden in the squad unless its a serious enough injury given they have a week off after this game.

I don't have that level of imagination.
If its a choice of city or arsenal, I would rather arsenal every time.

In order of merit on who I don't want to win

Liverpool
City
Arsenal

So arsenal are by far the lesser of the three evils

This City just don't convince defensively. Forest should have scored already.

How do people prefer City to win the league over Arsenal. It's just so fecking boring to have them win it again.

With you on this. Offsides are pretty much the one thing aside from GLT that we can actually get down to a science. The whole "but it's a toenail!" argument is basically just "but it's only just offside!" which means it's offside. Boom, done. Now we can try and solve one of the many other problems in football.

The "subjective offsides," where they're trying to decide if a player who doesn't touch the ball nor block someone's view is judged to be interfering with play or not - that's another matter entirely.

The attacker kinda smashed into Ederson instead of the other way around surely?

Mind you I have not seen the Onana thing. Where is Giflord booted I know

I really dislike this Arsenal team, and Arteta especially. City winning is just meh. Doesn’t mean much to me - it’s almost like no one is winning it. Also, I’ve never met a Man City fan in my life. They didn’t exist where I grew up.

That was nothing like yesterdays situations, come on.
Indeed. Onana punched the fella in the face. This was a 50/50. My only issue with it is Ederson got given the freekick... Typical refs defending the keepers.

If they didn’t sent off a player due to the occasion then that’s on them, poor officiating.
Ability to control oneself in sport is part of the game

Yes, I agree with the free kick. Should not have been.
