Premier League Gameweek 34-35

You mean like the one OGS was criticized for playing and supposedly the players challenges him to step away from and try and play like the "bigger teams"?
Exactly.

Not the right thread but I always thought OGS was a very smart manager in that he knew what he could and couldn’t do with the squad, and he was very harshly judged when two managers later you see that the squad is still a long way from playing « proactive football ». At least with OGS we had some fun and high scoring games

How did we lose to Chelsea? I can grasp losing to the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace etc. because at least those teams are capable of playing as a team once in a while. There's nothing cohesive about Chelsea. Just headless chickens running around, failing to do basic stuff.

Because you are also shit.

Doesn't that also describe United?

Ok, someone needs to make a gif of the gammons celebrating that goal
There's definitely gold in there

Exactly.

Exactly this, 100% agree. OGS knew exactly what kind of team and players he had and played to their strengths.

Did they all bet on a red card in this game ? Everybody's taking out someone

How is it possible for Villa's reserve goalie to be more of a madman than Martinez

Exactly.

He was until he wasn't. When he told the team to press Liverpool and try and play on the front foot, that was it.

Mudryk does well in flashes but his end product is a serious worry.

Well yeah that was my point in the post "Zed" quoted. OGS was criticized and supposedly pushed by his players to try and play like "the bigger teams" and it all went to shit from there.

If it ain't broke...

Are Villa aware that you're allowed to take a set piece without doing three fake run-ups first?

Oh, sorry my bad skimming through there. Yeah, agreed

If you were a manager I think you’d rather have Chelsea’s squad than ours. Despite Mudryk.
