Premier League Gameweek 29

Milner uninspiring as usual in his post match interview

That pic is disturbing. :lol::lol:

I still don´t get why Klopp brings on Origi for Coutinho. Was Origi involved in one success full counterattack. He does not make a single contribution to a counterattack. It´s always Lallana, Firmino and Mane, cause Origi cannot protect a ball, he cannot pass a ball, he cannot dribble a ball. He´s basically fast. And since we all know counterattack = fast player, he comes on. It´s so simple-minded, you´d think Klopp was an English manager.

We were all crying out for Origi to come on for Coutinho. Should of done it sooner.

This is real problem. The flippin weaker teams.

I dunno how but we gotta sort that out quick.

Being completely honest what do you think will be the result from your games against
City
Arsenal
Tottenham
Chelsea
Everton
??
4 points (4 draws)

City- Draw
Arsenal- Win
Tottenham- Draw
Chelsea- Lose
Everton- Draw

And honestly, because of how inconsistent the top 6 bar Chelsea are, this actually might be enough to get into the top 4.

Yeah. Unless we sort out our form against the bottom sides that could be enough

Perfect result in the City/Pool game. Couldn't be happier. Was hoping for a Spurs draw too but can't have everything. We need to make our games in hand count now.

Don't see it happening unfortunately for you guys, but really this must be the most exciting and anti climactic run in in recent years, it's as if the 2-6 are trying to hand off fourth to everyone else as if it's a hot potato.

He watches him miss though...
He watches the ball reach him, looks like he goes to celebrate assuming he's going to score - but then must see the fans reactions and turns back to see what happens. Look at his face expression when he first slides it looks like he's joyous to me

He's always missed a few, its just he gets in so many good positions alot. His conversion rate is about the same. He just doesn't look as good because he's had to drop alot of the explosiveness from his game. I suppose that could be seen as a decline but having him available and fit for 30 odd league games is much better than an explosive Kun who misses 20 games through injury.

On course to break 30 goals in a season for only the 3rd time in 6 seasons at City.

It's March, I'm already calling it - he won't be at City next season. China or back to Spain

Any of those could go either way so I have no idea. For the record I personally do not think that we will manage to get top 4. I'd rather win the EL anyway though, which looks easier to do atm.

Shots aren't goal scoring chances. Both your goals were "gifts".
what does this even mean?

Chelsea created plenty of chances, hit the bar, hit the post, forced the keeper into making some great saves.

I agree. It looks like he is holding his arms up to the gods in a "how the feck did he miss that" kinda way.

Of course he does, but the internet and specifically Twitter have no filter for stupid.

A free kick isn't a goal scoring chance. A goal scoring chance (or a clear cut chance) is like the one Cahill got handed to him for the 2nd goal. Shooting from a tight angle is a half-chance at best. Like the Pedro shot in the 2nd half, you rarely see those go in because the keeper should save them all day just like the Willian goal which the keeper was at fault for.

Chelsea didn't create a single good chance in the 2nd half. I'm not saying they didn't deserve the win, I'm saying they were lucky to get it.

a free kick is a goal scoring chance, and Chelsea created many opportunites in 2nd half.
Chelsea were not lucky to win , thet earnt that win thru hard work and not giving up...Stoke has 1 shot on target in 90 mins which was the penalty.
You just sound bitter and jealous that Chelsea keep plugging away and getting these points/wins no matter how a team plays against them....i.e. trying to kick them off the park ala Stoke and Utd
