Premier League Gameweek 29

Belotti would score 30 goals in the league playing on this liverpool side

Cracking game

Oliver is putting up a performance for the ages

Gundogan seems like a nice guy.

Ballack has already said he´ll help him with his rehab, so he gets back on the pitch 100% healthy for 2018. Ballack is scary he to learn right English for das 2018 World Cup, or Gundogan make his job.

He left them complaining about being played out of position.
He was getting plenty of gametime at City
It was a semi-flippant comment (as this is a match thread not a Milner thread) but seeing as you've replied....

'Milner said he found himself marooned on the sidelines despite hitting a rich vein of form and admitted his unwillingness to kick up a fuss ironically restricted his opportunities further.

The England international moved in the opposite direction to Sterling earlier in the summer with the prospect of regular football in his preferred central midfield position convincing him to switch to Anfield on a free transfer.

“I thought at times at City I won player of the month and then didn’t play for three, four or five games after,” said Milner. “I feel here if I play well, I’ll keep the shirt. It’s down to me."'

89 starts in 4 seasons (just over half of games) and Milners quotes (sure he knows what the situation was?) suggest game time WAS a factor. Being as he's happily played FB for Liverpool plenty of times, looks like he'd happier play (even at FB) then not play?

Heyho.

Heyho.

City fans issue with Milner is the way he celebrated scoring a pen in a game where they had us already hammered like he'd won the world cup. It was the game where they thrashed us shortly after we beat them in the cup final. The only other player I've ever seen trying to rub it into his ex team like that was Adebayor. Had Sterling done the same it would be all over the papers.

I see the Etihad is full again for a big game.

Plastics

Impossible to miss isn't it.

I'm sure one City fan once tried to explain it as it's just the "family stand" that seems to have these gaps.

Surely as we view the camera angle, the whole stand opposite and to the left aren't family stand?
And that's without having a good look at the other stands.

Liverpool, March, 4pm kick off. How is it for any piddly team on a midweek in winter?!

It's really strange...those empty seats at the front on the sides is truly odd. They must be season ticket holders surely...and this is a huge game.

I thought that. You would assume they are season ticket holders seats since they are right next to the pitch. Odd.

Nah.....you aren't so emotionally involved in this one. When United play you kick every ball, head ever ball and make every tackle...totally different thing. I applaud good exciting football and I'm enjoying this one, but I'm far more involved in every way when United play....even if we play shite...lol

Like I said, I still put on the United game, because I'm obliged to, knowing full well that I'm passing up on something better.

It's remarkable to me how quickly Sane has become City's most decisive player. Next season KDB should have help in midfield to be more of a factor but I think this trend will continue until the end of the season

It pains me to say, but I'd rather watch City-Pool game than a Utd game if it were going on at the same time. I may not, but I'll be highly tempted to. What we have been serving up as football is muck compared to what our rivals are putting on display.
That's the kind of thing you just keep to yourself.

And another shit decision by the scared little deer.
