Premier League Gameweek 29

Cracking half that! Think a City win here is best for us considering I think they will drop points in their next 2 games. Arsenal and Chelsea both away.

Last good refereeing I've seen in the Premier League was in Liverpool Arsenal 3-1. And it was from a younger ref, don't know his name.
Umpire business is shady. The referees assigned to the biggest games and send out for international duties are hardly ever the best, just the oldest and biggest ****lickers. Germany always send their worst.

Confirms for me Kun is done in Manchester, I can't see how Pep still has trust in his value to the team on anything resembling a consistent basis. I always wondered whether he was just missing the right situation to become a truly great but much like with Albicelestes, he disappoints too often

Yaya, what a liability he has become - Pep is definitely desperate with that squad which also lacks a goalscorer

Entertaining first half in stretches

Could have been a pen each but Sterlings one was stonewall and a red.

Good game. If Liverpool score first we're in trouble if not I think they'll eventually tire and we'll knick one. Tit for that so far. We're always on the verge of scoring the Fifa cutback, Liverpool dangerous on the break. Just wish we were a little more direct in the getting the ball wide so Liverpool can't press us up top which is whats creating their chances.

Pep spent a record PL amount on a squad already stronger than for example ours, any short comings are entirely down to St.Pep.

But reckon he needs a squad like Bayern and Barca to work this mythical 'magic' of his though.

City lack any penetration in the middle of the pitch, Pep will have to balance their attack more or little is going to change in the end result

I don't think it was red. Sterling missed the chance, then got taken out, so the goal scoring opportunity had passed imo.

Are you serious? Aguero's playing exactly the way Pep wants him too, today.

It pains me to say, but I'd rather watch City-Pool game than a Utd game if it were going on at the same time. I may not, but I'll be highly tempted to. What we have been serving up as football is muck compared to what our rivals are putting on display.

He inherited an enormous squad, most of which are out on that pitch apart from their best player, Sane

Sorry Milners tackle on Sterling is not a red but the pull on Kun by Klavan is 100% intentional, stops him reaching the ball and a pen and a red. All the talk is of Milners tackle but the pen should have been called before that.

Which is?

Track back, feed the wingers and try to get on the end of things. Which he would have if not for Klavans pull during the Sterling pen which was two fouls not one.

So Klavan pulling Kun on an unreachable ball is a penatly, but Otamendi pulling Mane´s arm back from behind is not.

City and Liverpool have been far more entertaining than us for years. Liverpool especially have been involved in some absolute classic matches in the last few years

Watch them again, Otter didn't touch Mane. Mane kicked him swinging for the ball. Liverpool were denied a stonewall pen too but that was Toure on I think Firmino or maybe Wijndalum in the scramble.

Jamie Redknapp should be fired. I remember few years ago when Ferdinand tackled Suarez when through on goal and he was trying to tell Neville and Fletcher it was a pen. He has just done the same now with the Mane, Otemendi one.

Would never do that. But can't deny that both sides are playing the care free expansive football United were famed for

Wait, Agüero's on the pitch?! Granted, I've not been giving the game my undivided attention, but I've not seen the fecker

Nah.....you aren't so emotionally involved in this one. When United play you kick every ball, head ever ball and make every tackle...totally different thing. I applaud good exciting football and I'm enjoying this one, but I'm far more involved in every way when United play....even if we play shite...lol

Liverpool under Klopp are always entertaining. A joy to watch. I'd love to see them play Monaco.
