Premier League Gameweek 26

Brighton 2020/21 will be a case study in years to come. Genuinely one of the unluckiest teams I’ve seen in the Premier League era. By all statistical metrics this season, they are easily a top half team yet they somehow manage to find a way to lose football matches. It must be infuriating to follow them at the minute.
BHA need 20+ shots for a goal, toothless.

If (and it really is a big fecking if right now) Brighton stay up, rumours are they would have to sell one of Lamptey, White or Bissouma in order to raise funds to buy a striker. Has to be done. With a competent striker, they are a top 10 side.

Fulham, a banker win vs Palace

Nine different players missed against Palace. Three more v WBA. It's a PANDEMIC!

Yeah it generally is now. It never used to be (seem to remember United scoring a quick free kick against Lille once?) but it just causes an argument and refs avoid it now. Which is totally fine I think.

Mason has cocked up and then wriggled out of it. It's probably fair to WBA, but reflects so poorly on Mason.
yup - not long ago, the ref pointed to his whistle if the team taking the free kick wanted to go for a practiced move. if they didn't they were allowed to take it quickly: bit like rugby refs pointing to the posts if team was going to kick rather than run with the ball. Lee Mason shouldn't be allowed to ref either games!

That’s not a great Arsenal side at all.

Aubameyang, Saka and Partey on the bench though.

That's a pretty poor lineup from us. Then again, we would probably struggle to get anything from this game with a full XI.

Also, how does Willian keep starting over Martinelli :(

Dunk scored a quick free kick at Anfield - allowed.

Goodness me. That's criminal defending at any level, never mind in the Premier League.

They've essentially chucked in the league. In February.

Their fans are more concerned about supporting Saka's progress this season than anything else
I think I read they need something like 9 wins and a couple of draws to 'equal' Wenger's lowest PL record.

That is some decline.

What the feck was El Neny doing? Xhaka didn't have the pace to catch the player.. it was clear.. How did no one try and get in the way..
Anyway.. Pen Arsenal
