What does that have to do with our top 4 chances?
Had real optimism they could be troubled IF they draw today, alas they had huge stroke of luck and momentum all with them again

Yeah but we're still in a good position, being in a talk about the title is just a bonus.Had real optimism they could be troubled IF they draw today, alas they had huge stroke of luck and momentum all with them again
Just seen it, what was he thinking.
Been on the GoonerinPeaceaid I think

Yep. Good they lost and even better they lost their number 1, how the hell did Liverpool not score again after that. Also Nunez first touch was just hilariousMoment of madness but it's great for us.
EDIT: looking at it again I think he tried to head it, instead of going with his feet, and then when he fecked up he just grabbed it out of instinct.
You lot looked thoroughly decent. Leeds didn't manage a shot on target.
I think having an actual football manager keeps you up pretty comfortably.
Newcastle clearly had an eye on the final. Only made 3 fouls all game and one was the sending off the another from Gordon after he came on. They didn’t fancy putting a foot in
Can someone explain the red card in this situation?
We’ve all seen outfield players go down and handle the ball in a similar manner and yet they were given a yellow, not a red.
Was the red card issued then for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity?
Yes it was the DOGSO which made it a red.
Yes, denying goalscoring opportunity. Even if it was far out, the fact that the keeper wasn't in goal made it an obvious goalscoring opportunity even if it was far out.Can someone explain the red card in this situation?

It’s not something to have an open top bus parade.Liverpool are going to get Champs League aren’t they? And we’ll never hear the end of it….
Watching the highlights, I was surprised by the number of chances Newcastle had with 10 men down. How did Liverpool play?
You simply can't be sure about anything it's the PL mate. Let's hope we can grab the 3 points today.Wishful thinking. Arsenal might but city will probably score at least 4 today.
What a shit bunch of results today.
Usually a promising sign picking up points despite not playing well. Potentially 3 points off Newcastle in 4th if you win your game in hand so definitely in it.Happy we’ve won but we’ve looked so lethargic even against 10 men. If we can get wins in our next two against Palace and Wolves then maybe we’ll look ok going into the United game, but I don’t think we’ve turned a corner yet.
Oh yes, especially since there will be Lord Karius in goal instead of him, right?Moment of madness but it's great for us.

Aren't you 60-odd? Why do you post like an attention-seeking teen?I'd just love to see Newcastle get a bit of confidence after tonight and finish with silverware next week*.
*Since it's now ok to support oil clubs as long as you're local. I'm a Geordie local now, wahyayyy!

That doesn't answer my question really. As much as I'm thought of as a cnut on here, my message is pretty clear. I won't repeat it. There is no moral high ground you can take on this. None whatsoever.
