People tend to overlook his value to that team on here, he really was a special player for them. Thanks god for Barca.

That's the frustrating thing. We know how they play against the better teams. And yet when we go to Anfield and don't go for all out attack you get fans saying things like "they're shite, even Swansea beat them".

Pogba can do things with a ball that Dele Alli couldn't even do on Fifa.

I believe Son scored more than Neymar last season. I know who I'd want in my team.

Not just that. They have no drive in midfield. Can and Wijnaldum are such nothing players against a compact team, because they have no energy, no pace, no tight space technique and they are cowards on top of everything. It was always Matip trying to play balls into the attacking players. Then Can and Wijnadlum were not even there for support. Gomez did nothing on the right, when TAA is a real dynamic fast player and the best crosser on the whole team. It´s a team that is ill-equipped to deal with busses, but the few weapons Klopp has in terms or players and set-ups he refuses to use. Why do you need two slow midfielders against a team that was obviously not going after you? Why not play Lallana or bring a target man like Ings and Solanke in, that can go after second balls or corner kicks. Absolutely bizarre line-up. Buying Fekir, Mahrez or Lemar will help, but it´s not the solution to their problems. They need a much better midfield and different tactics against such set-ups.
 
Wow. Such a disappointing performance. Lacked the bite in midfield. Too much backwards and sideways passing. Couldn't break them down and the full backs couldn't cross the street today. Absolutely dejected watching this drivel after last weekend.

Oh and Juve can have Emre.

Jose is preparing a particularity barbed comment to kick Jurgen when he's down. Something about there only being a few 'giant' clubs in the world and then linking the Coutinho exit to Pool not being in that bracket would be my guess

Coutinho was covering for all that. Now all that will be exposed on facing a proper defensive block.
 
Usual Klopp interview. They play a different type of football etc etc. Well what did you expect from a team fighting for survival.
 
Coutinho probably would have got them a draw with a wonder goal. When teams sit deep they look lost. How many wild long range shots did they take. The likes of Gomez as well :lol:

Carlos beat Arsenal 3-0 with Wednesday for the League cup once. Maybe he can do the great escape with Swansea. It won't be an easy match for Arsenal.
