Premier League Gameweek 23 (13th - 15th Jan 2018)

True. Klopp & Pep have spoken with their players. They came out with a fresh set of impetus, surely. It's poised for a nice second half
Not being smart but I think my point is kind of proven by the second half

Bernardo barely starts but he's scoring some goals. I know it's hard to enter that starting eleven but he deserves more playing time.

Seven minutes added-on, despite not a single break in the 2nd half except the goals?

I wanted a high scoring draw with plenty of reds but, since City are getting smashed, I'm going along for the ride.

If United can't beat a Stoke side with no manager tomorrow night we probably deserve to be leapfrogged.
After a terrible xmas period (drawing to Leicester, Burnley and Soton), we absolutely deserve to be leapfrogged. It doesn't come down to just this one game. Don't get this high and mighty attitude about cheering on Liverpool. I'm really enjoying City getting smashed.

Jose needs to make sure we absolutely batter Stoke tomorrow. Still 12 points then, but anything can happen. A little confidence booster for the lads.

It's how they are under Klopp. Especially at Anfield. Wouldn't be surprised to see them drop points against whoever they play next, but you can be sure that in the big games they're capable of this.
True they play a style that lends itself to huge scorelines in big games. But closing down at full energy levels into the 80th minute is a treat they always saved for us. Klopp doping thread anyone?

I can see Pep benching Aguero for him really soon and playing a false 9.

Good seeing City get beat but a bit risky that Pep might turn again to his cheque book out for Sanchez.

Perspective - Our point at Anfield looks decent. I really wish we had actually had a go at City, they might not have gone unbeaten into 2018.

We could if it wasn't for Pogba's suspension as he is key in starting counter-attacking, assuming Lukaku didn't make an error that led to a goal, we would win that games.

Can't believe B Silva has barely started for City. He's a nice little player.

No supporter of Manchester United should ever "cheer on Liverpool" though. Especially when a win for them effects our season!
