Premier League Gameweek 23 (13th - 15th Jan 2018)

Pool are just insanely clinical sometimes. How often do they put one past a team only to blitz them with another few in quick succession?

So, one more goal and Liverpool go second, right?

Glad to know Liverpool have have now transferred their game raising cuntishness to City and not just when we play them

Well not a bad day for Arsenal fans then. They still get to keep that unbeaten record going for them.

Just press like absolute animals! Sit on Otamendi and Ederson. Possession football might not be destroying all other forms of football.

City will now sign Johnny Evans and that'll be the end of Stones at City.

Ox and Wijnladum have been massive and the only person in the world that wants Moreno back is Gomez, so the attacking focus come over the other side again. Robertson is really rock solid.

This

But Klopp, & possibly Pochettino’s teams generally seems best equipped to deal with Pep’s teams. I say this all as “IMO”, of course.

Yep, Liverpool, even more, I would say. Their high pressing really killed them. Certainly, the team that's tactically suited to deal with Pep "philosophy".

Just saying, Arsenal fans go on about the 'Invincibles' thing all the time. It's cringe.

Why shoudn't we? We mention it as much United mention the Treble. Some records are there to be proud of. If you don't care about records then noone is stopping you not caring about records, not least of all me. If you have such a massive problem with records why bother giving me shit for it?

I wonder if St Pep of Tiki Taka will get the same treatment Jose did after our 0-0 at Anfield earlier in the season?

It's not a good result for us but why the hell are people saying Liverpool will be second when we have a game to play tomorrow ? The ones who should be worried are Chelsea.

It's how they are under Klopp. Especially at Anfield. Wouldn't be surprised to see them drop points against whoever they play next, but you can be sure that in the big games they're capable of this.

Chelsea are actually the reason I'm not too worried about top 4. They look absolute shite atm.

Are you seriously comparing a team winning the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup in the same season to Arsenal drawing a load of matches?!

You've gone full Arsenal, well done

Someone's not happy

I wanted a high scoring draw with plenty of reds but, since City are getting smashed, I'm going along for the ride.

If United can't beat a Stoke side with no manager tomorrow night we probably deserve to be leapfrogged.

Yeah not sure what folk is happy about

Don't want City to go the whole season unbeaten. Also you never know what a big defeat can do for the confidence of the players, hopefully they can drop a few points in the coming games and then who knows what happens.

Drawing a lot of games. Its like arguing with a 12 year old playing COD. I was comparing caring about records. For someone who doesn't care about records you're sure bleating about it five posts in a row now. ;)

Perspective - Our point at Anfield looks decent. I really wish we had actually had a go at City, they might not have gone unbeaten into 2018.
Holding out for a point at the time might not have been such a bad idea had we not gone on to drop stupid points afterwards
