Premier League Gameweek 22

First time Fulham have taken a point at Stamford Bridge in 10 years?

The Boehly revolution blazing through London.

Another one to add to all the points they got for winning the transfer window.

Or those who type this when he's not even played 90 mins yet..
Did he play 90 minutes last week when certain posters on this forum melted down and started slagging Antony for no reason in a Liverpool v Chelsea match thread?
I must have missed those 90 minutes

If I was a Chelsea supporter I would be extremely pissed knowing my club spent over 500m and start a game with Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount.

That is absolutely dreadful.

Mount, Gallagher, Ziyech and Havertz could have stepped up and proved their worth with the recent signing and they were still dreadful.
They are playing with 4 new teammates - introducing that many players into the team is never going to be a seamless transition for the existing players (not that they looked particularly seamless before January!).

100s of millions spent but still fielding dross like Havertz, Mount and Gallagher.

Is Felix's suspension up next match? He'll come in for Havertz.

Agreed, Havertz just looks really shite nowadays. He looks like he's fallen out of love with football, if he ever had any.
This is exactly what it seemed like to me. I think he's just going through the motions and will probably go back to Germany in the summer.

People have short memories here. When Silva got sacked we had lost 9 of the first 15 games and were in 18th place after spending 100m in the summer. I doubt any of you would have said it was unwarranted to sack him in that position. It's easy to say in hindsight he shouldn't have been but we were playing crap. It's when Ancelotti left/Benitez joined that it really fell apart for us.

Giving posters here too much credit. Fan opinion, especially on forum, is driven by kneejerkism. Those same people will be demanding why he isn't sacked when next season Fulham start off without a win in their first ten or something.

Laugh, laugh you sadist geezer schadenfreude seeker. Laugh I say laugh out loud:D

Oh I am. Even compared to other transfer splurges we've seen in the past, this spree from Chelsea has been both ridiculous and disgusting. I hope they continue to fail badly.

Chelsea are a huge expensive mismatch of players from 2 different regimes before Potter. Now with Potter, after some initial good results, the mismatch is even more pronounced with Potter and the new players from this past window.

Lots of fat to trim from Chelsea's squad because they just don't fit the profile of what Potter is going to institute, that is if he actually gets the time to do it.

Antony is the forums new piñata bro nothing new!

Well done Fulham - they were decent in the Champ last year but they’ve really pushed on this year. They don’t seem to be as reliant on Mitrovic either.

We haven't got short memories. But we do remember some of your fans praising Frank like he was the second coming of Rinus Michels whilst never giving the likes of Silva/Koeman/etc a chance.

Everton are in a mess because of bad management and the wrong choices in the sporting dept, very similar to United actually.

Everton fans are a major reason why Everton went for Frank in the first place over Vitor Pereira, because he said something that sounded cocky. Imagine having confidence in your ability as a manager. I don't feel much sympathy for them. Piling pressure on the Board to remove their last Director of Football seems to have only made them worse too. When a club has an owner as incompetent as Moshiri, pressure from fans can make a massive difference. They deserve to go down. Other clubs with less financial resources have performed far better. Everton only managed to make themselves weaker in the January transfer window.

He had a chance. He lost 9 out of 15 and we brought in a better manager in Ancelotti.
Ancelotti was a terrible fit for Everton. Was never going to work and he couldn't wait to get out of there. Silva would have been good with the right sporting dept around him, anyway, its all for another thread. Dyche is a good and very "Everton" appointment, with respect. You've done well with British stalwarts like Moyes etc.

Why are Sky treating this as if they keep City and Haaland out? A lot of teams keep Chelsea out.
It’s as if they’ve automatically put Chelsea up there with the likes of Arsenal for no real reason at all

Every time I watch Chelsea under Potter they have looked below par. His Brighton sides were way better to watch, even in this season. An example of what no consistency in team structure and a scatter gun approach does to an otherwise shrewd manager.
Especially up front, which was the issue with his Brighton side. Coincidence?

Honestly, I've never seen us given that leeway ..

Really?

Agree.

Everton's big problem is their fans. They're deluded (hey, they're Scousers so no surprises there.) I even see our own fans posting stuff like "Everton are too big to go down" and crap like that. I don't get it - Villa, Forest, Leeds etc weren't "too big" to go down. The Ev have done jack all for decades, spent a fortune on players and hound out every single manager they get after a few bad results.

Some Utd fans here "like" Everton because they assume just because they hate Liverpool, they're automatically "friends" of ours. They're not - Evertonians hate Utd nearly as much as they hate Liverpool.

Can't wait to see them in the EFL personally!

And people went after Antony last GW because Mudryk played a good last 20mins vs Milner. "Thats what a 100m player looks like". Subbed of at HT.. Not trying to go after Mudryk or anything, I'm sure he'll become a good player, just saying these young guys coming from shit leagues need time to settle in. Its such a night and day difference playing at this level.

You can never improve your midfield to an elite level as long as Mason Mount is there. He is your noose around your neck. Homegrown, English, Academy lad, fans favorite etc. Not poor enough to be sold, not good enough to be amongst the best. His top level is not elite enough and his bottom level is shockingly low. He would produce moments here and there like he has done till now but would never be consistent week in week out neither as an 8 nor a 10 nor in any position. Enjoy him.

We spent 100m in the summer before he was sacked. If you supported a side and your manager lost 9 in 15 and were sitting in 18th place can you seriously say that you wouldn't think of sacking them?

This - You finish in the bottom 3 you get regelated, there’s no special dispensations. After that, if you are badly run and appoint bad managers you stay relegated for 20+ years. Everton fans need to suck it up and think about the possibility of Hull and Millwall away next season.

Decent result in the end, though. Fulham were the better side and Chelsea were 7 defeats in 12 coming in to this. A point isn't bad for Chelsea in those circumstances.

Because of how football works nowadays, people are more interested in transfers than actual games.

I'm confused by this mentality of people thinking Everton fans don't realise that we are in serious danger of relegation.

Actually expected Chelsea to win this one as it was at Bridge but 0-0 is brilliant result for us. While we need to win as many points as possible, rivals dropping them certainly releases pressure and gives us space.

Wolves-Liverpool
Spurs-City

Hopefully there could be another few good results this weekend for us. Have to make sure we beat Palace tomorrow though.
