To be fair, it was perhaps a needed learning experience for Silva and also because it's really hard for all of Everton's managers to succeed with the inconsistent decision (i.e transfer) making.
Also apart from a few seasons ago, where Fulham did their own 'Forrest' and buy a bunch of players after getting promoted, they are generally a really well run club.

Yeah, agree. I think a weakness of his was not being able to organise a team in a defensive sense, but he's certainly improved in that department. I've always liked him.
