Premier League - Gameweek 17

Spurs played to Liverpool's strength. Also found them in great form so they're getting a humiliating result.

It's quite strange watching a Dyche and Ange team back to back.

Night and day. Everton might be an eye sore to watch but I can respect their structure and effort. I’m watching a Tottenham here who have thrown the towel in.

Liverpool will runaway with it and match our 20 titles

Not only have we been shite for years but we’ve had to watch this lot and City mop up the league.

Really shit times

Anyone who watched Spurs on Thursday knew this was going to happen. I just thought they might score a few more consolation goals at least.

I’ve said it before but for me Salah and Henry stand alone together as the top 2.
You can keep saying it, but it doesn't mean Ronaldo, as a rare ballon dor winner from England and the best player in a sensational United team isn't above both.

Ronaldo didn't have the longevity in the PL of the other two. If we are speaking generally then yeah, Ronaldo is better but all time PL players, nah.

On another note I saw one poll of "best" every premier league strikers and someone had Shearer about 6th, under the likes of Drogba.
Can't quite understand that on any level at all.

Given that they're fielding a young central midfielder alongside a backup centre-back as their defensive pairing, it's no wonder Liverpool have had a field day.

If we were clinical, we'd have had scored the same amount.

Why would they not want to score more goals?
Not necessarily "not want", but when you're up by 3+ and clearly the better team you may want to prioritize conserving energy to going full pace the rest of the game, or at least while you're still 3+ up. It is a long season after all, and this is the busiest portion of it.

 that's mad. I could slightly understand people having him 2 and favouring Kane but all the way down in 6 is daft.

Kane v Shearer would be an interesting debate, maybe coming a lot down to generation of fan.

I'd always for instance go for Shearer, even if Kane overtook his goals and actually won something.

Salah genuinely annoyed Diaz denied him another assist
