Premier League Gameweek 14

City will win this
Think saints needed a goal in the first half when it was there for them

Can you imagine watching highlight packages of him in the future
He will look deadly
Seen as he is a DMC what do you expect. I'd take him here over old man Matic.

Can't believe So'ton have been denied another stonewall penalty. Where is VAR?

Looks like Redmond was on his works do last night

The handball rule is insane, I have no clue what is or isn't a peno these days.

The amount of attacks that break down at the feet of Raheem Sterling is incredible.

It bounced up off his own leg so I don't think that counts.

It was a blatant penalty. They get given for the ball accidentally hitting the hand when the players arm is down now, never mind when the arm is up in what looks like a deliberate movement.

It's the ricochet rule:

Premier League players will be allowed extra leeway when it comes to ricocheted handballs.

It is often impossible to avoid contact with the ball if it has deflected off the body of an opponent, team-mate, or even another part of the own player.

So a handball will not be awarded if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player who is close/nearby.

Right call in my eyes, bounces off his hip into his elbow. Would be ludicrous if that was called. That said there have been calls just as terrible this season. Not much consistency

Problem is earlier in the season thats a peno, now its not. Its the constant changes that are so frustrating, the table would look very different with that implementation all season.

Surely that's meant for when the ball is smashed at the player though and ricochets onto their hand. Not when a player takes a poor first touch and it hits them on the arm.

Cheers bud, hard to keep up with the changes.

Except for penalties for Liverpool against Leeds.

Gonna be punished for not being clinical here.

That rule is a load of rubbish when it’s often a penalty now if an opposition player t**ts it at your arm from point blank range.
