Premier League Gameweek 14-16

Spurs play suicide ball. I'm cringing watching this approach, almost like Ange wants to lose by 7 goals.

Pep Guariola is my idle

I don't care much for him.

I strongly feel he would fail with us for example. On the other hand I think Klopp would do fine. Infact I think Klopp is the only one who can do anything with our team under this type of a useless set up.

What a player Alvarez is. No frills/skills or crazy stuff, just so so so effective.

Spurs naive as per usual. This manager won’t last if he refuses to teach his team how to play defensively.

Spurs should be at least 3 down here. Screams a 2-2 half with these misses.

There is nothing naive about their approach here.

This is better than teams with aspirations coming here and playing a low block from the beginning. And losing anyways.

Plus, Tottenham have an excellent record against City in recent years using this very approach.

You have to admire Spurs' courage. Would be some game with Spurs at full strength.

It amazes at how fast Man City get the ball back. Their pressing is something else.

Against City away I don’t recall them playing this high a line and conceding this many chances.

Nobody saw him signal for a penalty. I have just left the ground and it was right in front of us. I’ve since seen highlights and again, he doesn’t give a penalty. There was an immediate whistle blow to hold for the VAR check while we were lining up for the corner, then he went to the screen - correctly no penalty - then he gives a drop ball.

I can absolutely guarantee we’ll receive yet another apology for this.

Mate I don't know what to tell you, he pointed to the spot. Everyone after the fact confirmed that Pawson gave the penalty himself, so when it was overturned it's a drop ball. The rule is idiotic but they followed it correctly.

Hmm Doku looks a bit selfish for me, doing a lot of smashing the ball towards goal...less of a provider for sure.

But as soon as his form drops then Pep can bring Grealish on. The benefit of having 2 quality players in every position.

This should be over but we've been so poor in front of goal.
