In terms of the wide men absolutely, we -probably need a fullback too. Can't get away with relying on only the CF for goals these days and that's how we've ended up.
I think it'll motivate Pep to stay longer if he doesn't win anything and they have a "bad" year (finishing 3rd or 4th). This is his first real "crisis" at City, the first time he has serious problems to solve. Don't think he's going to want to go out with the team at their lowest low after all that success.

Yeah Ake and Akanji are only on the bench cause we have no one else. They're not fit enough to play unless someone dies. Walkers in the same boat but being rushed back early, he just has to be thrown in and can't be eased back in like KDB. Not that its an excuse as we still have a strong team out.
I think Savinho and Oscar Bobb will go on to be really good players. Whether they develop the output that their predecessors have remains to be seen. Not a massive fan of Doku in terms of output although he is a danger.
Porro, Lavia, Rogers, Palmer, Delap .. they've let some good young players go in recent years that could've contributed and helped reboot the side. It looked good at the time getting decent fees for these kind of players but maybe that was a bit short-sighted.

Yeah I think theres more potential in Savinho than Doku who is just Belgian ASM sadly. Bobb is a big loss and it looked like this was his breakthrough season but no idea if he'll come back the same player.

I think you're right, and he's going to rightly have a lot of leniency before he gets sacked. That said, if he's on his way out anyway, I can't imagine for a moment that the club actually gives a shit about him and will sack him if they decide it's for the best. You can give most half decent managers unlimited budgets and win stuff (for the record I'm not saying he's only an average manager, just that they could still do well without him).

Bringing Gundogan back a year after we failed to replace him is looking more criminal by the day to be fair. Another one that we need to replace with a younger midfielder more energetic high level midfielder in the near future, along with KdB, Silva and maybe Kovacic. Doesn't help that he looks completely finished at this level. A mistake we rarely make
