Perhaps the most depressing thing is if we had our shit even half way together, we might have been able to take advantage of Arsenal and City being so shit this season. Instead Dipperpool are gonna walk to the title.
Cracking stuff Colin. No it's O'Reily, the Danish chap.
In terms of the wide men absolutely, we -probably need a fullback too. Can't get away with relying on only the CF for goals these days and that's how we've ended up.The rebuild of the squad has been shite
I think it'll motivate Pep to stay longer if he doesn't win anything and they have a "bad" year (finishing 3rd or 4th). This is his first real "crisis" at City, the first time he has serious problems to solve. Don't think he's going to want to go out with the team at their lowest low after all that success.Arne Slot is taking the no1 spot in the bald manager league then.
Pep’s leaving, I’ve never been more certain.
Is Ake injured? In terms of the wide men absolutely, we -probably need a fullback too. Can't get away with relying on only the CF for goals these days and that's how we've ended up.
Yeah Ake and Akanji are only on the bench cause we have no one else. They're not fit enough to play unless someone dies. Walkers in the same boat but being rushed back early, he just has to be thrown in and can't be eased back in like KDB. Not that its an excuse as we still have a strong team out.Is Ake injured?
I think Savinho and Oscar Bobb will go on to be really good players. Whether they develop the output that their predecessors have remains to be seen. Not a massive fan of Doku in terms of output although he is a danger. In terms of the wide men absolutely, we -probably need a fullback too. Congratulations.Bloody hell, what a game. Carlos Baleba made all the difference. In the first half City dominated our midfield, Baleba changed that completely.
Yeah, the number of players Brighton have upfront is crazy. The 235 in the buildup is nice.
That's lovely attacking play and movement.
Yeah I think theres more potential in Savinho than Doku who is just Belgian ASM sadly. Bobb is a big loss and it looked like this was his breakthrough season but no idea if he'll come back the same player.I think Savinho and Oscar Bobb will go on to be really good players. I think you're right, and he's going to rightly have a lot of leniency before he gets sacked. That said, if he's on his way out anyway, I can't imagine for a moment that the club actually gives a shit about him and will sack him if they decide it's for the best. You can give most half decent managers unlimited budgets and win stuff (for the record I'm not saying he's only an average manager, just that they could still do well without him).I think it'll motivate Pep to stay longer if he doesn't win anything and they have a "bad" year (finishing 3rd or 4th). True, but at the same time this is apparently the first time Lord Pep has ever lost four games in a row.The funny thing is that this is no where near a crisis for City.
The form is as bad as it gets for them but they can still win pretty much everything. I’m almost certain that we have discussed poor form, in regards to City, before Christmas for a couple of years now.
4How many losses in a row?
City? 4.How many losses in a row?
Red for me thatHow wasn't that a red?
To me as well.Red for me that
Because it was advantage. No goal, it would be a red.How wasn't that a red?
VAR would surely have intervened. Surprised to see the ref wave that away.Red for me that
How wasn't that a red?
Ref waved it away not advantage.Because it was advantage. No goal, it would be a red.
Bringing Gundogan back a year after we failed to replace him is looking more criminal by the day to be fair. Another one that we need to replace with a younger midfielder more energetic high level midfielder in the near future, along with KdB, Silva and maybe Kovacic. Doesn't help that he looks completely finished at this level. A mistake we rarely makeIn terms of the wide men absolutely, we -probably need a fullback too.
