Premier League Gameweek 11

I get the whole Liverpool will win the league with results like this issue... But that's a problem for a later day.

For now, I feckin' love it when City lose... Massive cry babies

Arne Slot is taking the no1 spot in the bald manager league then.

Pep’s leaving, I’ve never been more certain.

What does Bernado Silva offer these days? And why does Pep insist on always playing him on the wing?
He's so slow and one footed. Offers very little unless City are keeping the opposition boxed in their area for most of the game.

Wonder if Vinicius still thinks Rodri wasn't deserving of the ballon d'or.

Fair play to Brighton. Thought we were decent in the first half, but Brighton were good for the three points and a good side. International break at a good time for once

100% his last season. City are giving out a "confident" outlook on the court case, but they know it's going to be bad and must be playing on everyone.

Not to mention missing Rodri, the ballon d'or winner no less. Playing Lewis or Kovacic instead is an outrageous step down.

We’re getting players back and have Amorim coming in there’s a small chance guys!

Bernardo, KDB and Gundogan are spent forces. Grealish, Nunes, Foden, Doku and Savinho aren't players to win games week in week out yet, or never will be.

Gonna be interesting title race this season.

I mean he's clearly a great manager but not everything lasts forever. The team are aging and I can see him leaving next year.

He is over-rated as a manager, even Ole who everyone said was out of his depth at Man Utd bettered him a few times

All good things...

Well, all things. It's huge test for City's mentality and strength of character. They've never really been asked questions of for a long time.

No complaints, yet again, really good for 30 minutes, don't get a 2nd and then get cooked.

Lot's of issues and funny enough very few based on Kovacic in the Rodri roll.
1 - Rico Lewis can't defend and is being targeted by teams over and over.
2 - Walker has lost his recovery pace. This is a big issue given how much he usually bails us out against counters.
3 - We replaced wingers with end product with wingers with none. We have 5 wingers Nunes, Grealish, Doku, Bernardo and Savinho. Good players them all but zero final ball or finishing. Compare this to Mahrez, Sterling, Sane and thats a problem etc.. It's Foden or Haaland or bust in front of goal.
4 - Gundogan is too old. Good player and tidy on the ball but we have too many slow players who are tidy on the ball in the middle now. Kova, Gundo and Lewis. Kova's been fine but like Rodri he needs legs around him.
5 - Maybe after that we can blame the Rodri injury.
6 - In terms of other injuries Simpson-Pusey has been fine. Nunes has been fine. Its not the rotated in players letting us down, its the established first teamers.
7 - If you can limit Erling and double/treble up on him, we have nothing bar a Gvaridol wonder goal.

People will equally big issues in attack than defence. Erling will carry the can again despite being the only attacker actually doing their job.

Hard to judge how good he really is when every single situation is perfectly manufactured for him, and he always has the best players and the biggest budget.

Would be interesting to see him have to rebuild a team from scratch, but I don't think he'd ever do that.

Agree with the Doku/Savinho thing. I think they offer you nothing.

Bloody hell, what a game. Carlos Baleba made all the difference. In the first half City dominated our midfield, Baleba changed that completely.
