Woods put Forest ahead
Agreed, but we were crap with a full lineup. And injuries contributed(not the sole reason but they had an impact) to us being shit as well last season. Feels like we are just going in circles so I'll just stop.
As things stand if Villa and Chelsea pick up at least a point tomorrow Arsenal will be 7th.
It is and makes a mockery of many people’s assertion of another 3yr rebuild for us.Brighton's ability to get better and better despite losing players and managers is seriously impressive.
With some better management and luck, we could easily have 8 more points and in the top 4. Brighton, Palace, West Ham could easily have been wins.Regretful how we botched up our rebuilding process, the league was ripe for taking this season.
Scousers will still win today... they've been poor and won several times this season already
I don't want it to happen as I want us to beat Chelsea but it does make you think about Artetas wonderful team and Arsenal fans talking them up these last few years as if they are an elite team, fine margins.I would laugh but we're really not in a position to do so. Who am I kidding?
Not as sharp as you'd expectChrist. Blade almost scores
No Michael Oliver to help them this week?West Ham having a cup final hangover
Liverpool struggling, Brighton causing problems.Brighton, so far, looking comfortable
I think all the top teams are worse than last season, and a few were overrated last season also.City have looked leggy and haggard - not a word you’d associate with a Pep Guardiola team - all season. Most of the top teams have looked like they have no juice and are just about getting over the line (or not, in Arsenal’s case). Who is even playing the best football in the league this season?
