Premier League Festive Season (Gameweek 18-20)

Looking forward to seeing Dermot Gallagher explain how that's not a penalty. I suppose it might be fun, when it doesn't involve United.

Think we went for him from all the reports I’ve heard, we were just busy spending his fee on Onana and Mount and had nothing left

The rumours from February last season were he was signing for Arsenal as soon as the season concluded so I don't think you were ever really in the frame. In ideal world he'd have gone to Chelsea but they made such a mess of last season it was smarter to sign for Arsenal and stay in London that way.

Probably chance to go for him was maybe summer 2020 when you were going to pay a big fee for Grealish but that fell through quite late in the summer. Wouldn't have been as polished as Casemiro but would've been a decade long signing.

He doesn’t even reach out to brace himself for a fall, he just slaps the ball away

Some of the football on display in this game is miles above what we are capable of.

And neither team are even playing that well. It's scrappy by their standards.

That decision being at Anfield is a proper glitch in the matrix. Varception almost
Arsenal and City get their fair share of decisions so Anfield or not, not particularly surprising.

Wow Jim Beglin who never goes against Liverpool just said it wasn't a penalty. If that wasnt a handball what is?

Wow, that was way too easy to get past Zinchenko. Great finish, but he was pretty much just a training cone there.

Salah basically keeping Liverpool in title race on his own. He'll be near impossible for them to replace in the summer.

To be fair, it's a borderline decision.

On the one hand, he's playing basketball with it in his own box, but on the other hand, Liverpool can get fecked.

To be fair Liverpool are playing like shit.
We gave Arsenal a better game at the Emirates all those many, many moons ago

How many times do some of you keep having to harp on about United here? Not like there’s a forum to discuss things or anything…

It is. You don’t see them loaning players now do you?
They’re well run now, that’s why
Who do you want them to loan out ? They have a gazillion injuries and have once again succesfully rebuilt a winning squad. They only need a striker and they're good to go.
They've been well run for decades.

Zinchenko’s only attribute seems to be being equally mediocre in two positions.

VARs worst nightmare, they hate to give decisions against both teams. Must have been really hard for them to have done that.

If that was our keeper, people would be moaning he got beat at his near post....
