Premier League 14/1/25 - 20/1/25

I’m really scratching my head if the PL this year is really strong or really weak. So many so called smaller clubs with good results against the top teams. Makes that the league stronger with more strong teams or are the top teams just not good to beat the smaller clubs and makes that the league weaker?

Game over and league over

Standard of the top teams is absolutely dog shit this season
Yeah, Liverpool are going to win the league without needing to be especially brilliant. Being put under no pressure. A title is a title though.

City must have an incredible tally of points lost from winning positions this year.

And on the flip side Liverpool must have a huge number of points won from losing positions. Feels like they've done this every week

I’m back to wishing for Liverpool wins again. It was a nice few weeks where Liverpool results mattered to Chelsea. We will be out of the top 4 by tomorrow. Winless in 5.

Regardless of tonight's result this Notts Forest team have certainly earned everyone's respect.
Indeed, would be nice and very much deserved if they get CL as a result of this league campaign.

Liverpool have built a monumental lead on lots of scrappy single goals wins, alongside big games wins. Very United 12/13 vibes.
Also similar in that they will win it, simply because no other teams are challenging.

Worst oart is that these was no need to concede that corner at first place. These was no need for Williams to do that.

As bad as it is for the Caf, a very competitive league and an end to the oil club title pumping is good for the PL.

Matter of time now for the next Liverpool goal

'this is the Premier League '

Low quality, low IQ, physical meat grinding slop
No one forces you to watch games of your main rivals on your night off mate

Neither player got the ball and both made contact with Salah. I was sure it would be given.
In today's game that's a penalty more often than not. But imo contact has to have much more force. Players go down far too easily

When are referees going to get wise to Liverpool and Arsenals diving and general cheating?!

Salah has been dire again but watch him pop up with a scruffy goal to win it…

Incredible how he’s achieved the numbers he has for such a technically-bereft footballer. He’s a complete contradiction.
