Premier League 14/1/25 - 20/1/25

He’s an out and out attacker for them isn’t he? He’s been pinning down our RB all second half.
He is but I could have sworn he started out as a full back and then transitioned into a forward.

Chelsea dropping points as really opened up the top 4 race with Newcastle and Bournemouth

Said it first half Liverpool would score from their first shot on target and sure enough that's how it worked out for lucky Liverpool who will likely go on to win now.

He's being interfered with. The refereeing in this league is regressive
Yeah Gakpo wasn’t looking at the ball at all, just stepped into the goalkeepers path and held him back.

It’s so weird how referees have just decided to allow that this season, it’s been an instant free kick for as long as I’ve watched the game.

Anti-football wins again

Liverpool have built a monumental lead on lots of scrappy single goals wins, alongside big games wins. Very United 12/13 vibes.

Liverpool 19/20 too. Had plenty of one goal wins in the first half of that season.

Lots of these "little" decisions go on Liverpool side. Mac Allister avoids potential yellow, Trent also, suspicious offside for NFO, Gakpo blocking gk.
Not saying that any of these are clear mistakes but it helps when every 50:50 decision go in your way.
