Premier League 14/1/25 - 20/1/25

Meh Newcastle will go on to win it now, Bournemouth don’t have the depth off the bench with their injuries.
It was always going to be difficult for Bournemouth and Newcastle are a very good team.

Still, plenty of time left.

If Newcastle keep their best players, and strengthen in the summer, they could be in with a title shout next season

Good refereeing in this game, imo. Nice to see one that doesn't just give a yellow every time somebody goes down.

When they're on it, they're a really powerful and aggressive side. Abit like Poch's Spurs side.
I think they lack a little more finesse in the middle though and could really do with a world class CB.

I’d love us to have the same athleticism these two teams have, the difference in our speed of play, physicality and athleticism is so stark to see.

Our striker problem for the NT seems to slowly being solved!

What a howler from Guimaeres. Great finish though.

First touch is everything in football.

That should be 3-1 and Bournemouth might regret missing this chance.

Joelinton is such an utter cnut of a player.

Joelinton is such a cnut, one of those players you despise even if he plays for your own team

That’s now two good tackles from Adams this half imo, resulting in two fouls and a yellow.

Joelinton is a thug. That's a red card for me. Nowhere near the ball and just kicks Kluivert's legs from under him.
Sums up the PL refs that Bournemouth came away with 2 yellow cards from that incident to Newcastle's 1.

The league deserves a massive slap for putting this game on at 12:30pm btw. Travelling from Bournemouth to Newcastle is a brutal trek. Credit to the travelling fans for making that journey.
