Premier League 01/02/25 - 03/02/25

I genuinely think that you have a point here. We'd likely be bottom half of the table without all the jammy penalty decisions, last minute winners and all the other moments that seem to go our way. Only so long before our luck runs out....
You must be actually demented to think that

You make your own luck anyway. Liverpool were getting battered and stayed in the game and got their moment.

If it was United, we concede under the pressure and then the opposition has the momentum and it’s a 50/50.

Being able to stay alive under pressure is just as important as imposing your game on the opposition.

Every Fulham attack breaks down when the ball gets to Iwobi.

Also, am I crazy or did he not use to be a lot faster?

So.. didn’t watch any of our games since ETH?

At what point do the rest of the league say enough is enough about the blatant cheating Liverpool are getting away with every single week? Would strike action be appropriate? Something has to be done about it.

I don't understand this subconscious drive from pundits and referees to have Liverpool on top again. Like they think them the people's champions or something. And I dont do paranoia

What game are you watching? We were not getting battered at any point during this game.

Im pretty sure we had basicly the exact same situation against City last season, where Walker clips a full speed Rashford causing him to fall.

No penalty of course.

I don't know why you all get your hopes up and wound up about Liverpool results every week.

The league has been over for months no one is good enough to catch them.

Of course teams are good enough to catch them but the match officials are probably going to do their best to ensure that doesnt happen.

Nearly all of them.

Brighton, where we conceded first after 5 minutes, Newcastle, where we conceded first after 4 minutes, Wolves, where we conceded first after an hour, Southampton, where we conceded first, Bournemouth, where we conceded first, Forest, where we conceded first after 2 minutes etc…

We still absolutely concede and fail to stay in games when teams have moments. We are better with the ball, but the evidence is there without it.

They’re showing the replay during the HT show; the defender clearly clips Gakpo, so nothing much to argue about.

Everybody's going mental because it's Liverpool. This is such a logical penalty, i don't know what anyone else is watching

Even if there's a small amount of contact it's miles away from goal. Just because a player is touched in the box doesn't mean it has to be a penalty. It's very very soft

Also check the number conceded by them
God forbid a team doesn’t consistently commit stupid fouls inside the box. How can you even comment a stat like that unless you can bring some arguments to the table for penalties which we should’ve conceded and were not awarded?

You’re really having a mare here.

Don't really understand that xG sometimes. That shot that went off the woodwork that has Allison beaten by Bournemouth doesn't get factored in at all? Meanwhile Pool are on 2.13?

I am just giving a stat which says that Liverpool have had the second highest pens while not giving away a single one. It's a fact as Rafa would say

FFS, that's never a penalty.
So defenders can clip an attacker who’s running towards goal in the box now without consequences? That’s… interesting. He literally goes down because of the contact hence takes away a goal scoring opportunity.

I know you guys hate Liverpool but the comments on that sequence in here are really something else. One Arsenal fan and even he says it’s a stonewaller.

Thing is we've seen challenges with more contact not given as penalties this season. Again it's inconsistencies that are the problem.

Refs just do whatever they feel like on the day
