Premier League 01/02/25 - 03/02/25

You won't get a softer penalty this season. Liverpool doesn't need help to win the title and yet still they get it.

Liverpool never look particularly great when I watch them play, yet they're winning the league at a canter it seems.

That's a penalty that wouldn't be given 99% of the time. Literally only Liverpool get that one I reckon.

Ref literally just let a blatant foul on kluivert go in the middle of the park aswell and then gives that as a penalty.

Look, if you offered me Liverpool winning the league this season in exchange for their three best players subsequently leaving on a free before their downfall, I might have taken it.

We’re playing away at a team who just beat two of the most in-form teams in the league with an aggregate of 9-1 and quite easily keeping them at bay so far. If you expect us to literally dominate every game, then yeah sure we don’t “look particularly great”.

Trent a major liability-most attacks down his side and he looks zoned out with awful touches and no real attacking input. B'mouth will score

It’s funny because it’s actually true. Luckiest club in the world
I genuinely think that you have a point here. We'd likely be bottom half of the table without all the jammy penalty decisions, last minute winners and all the other moments that seem to go our way. Only so long before our luck runs out....

doesn't matter, you'll get bailed out when you need it

I'm all for shitting on referees but Cook trips him at full speed, how is that not a penalty ??? He didn't mean to but Cook knows he touched his foot and made him fall.
If the ref doesn't spot it, i'm sure VAR gives it.
