Been there and seen it all before after Sir Matt left the stage and we ran through a large number of managers with various outcomes, usually poor results and another manager getting the sack. This continued over a number of years before Alex Ferguson came on the scene and initially he was not much better than his fore runners but he survived due to a cup round win from a goal by Mark Robbins which saved his bacon. From there the total outlook changed and United signed some excellent players and introduced a group of youngsters from the youth team. The rest, as they say, is history.
What concerns me is that we are in such a poor state that I fear Amorim could be the next lamb to the slaughter and the door will revolve yet again. I think that would be a great shame as the blame falls at the players door. How long it will take to get a proper squad together no one
knows but I doubt I will live to see it.
The club needs a complete overall starting with getting rid of both INEOS and the Glazers. Getting someone in who has a passion for football and a wadge of cash. The only person I can think of is Prince Jasimm or someone of his ilk. Trying to get the team to survive with the same squad, the same owners (leeches) and INEOS is not an option. I have not attended a match at OT since the Glazers came in and most likely will never go there again, unfortunately.
Not much more I can say except, I hope and pray someone will come to our rescue and get this great club back where they belong.
