Post-match discussion

Regardless of who is at fault, it’s clear that Jose is not the one to sort it out. He has to go, and shit stirrers in the squad need to follow him out come the next window.

Nowhere near good enough. Wrap it up how you want 3 at the back with wing backs, five at the back because we are playing 'Pragmatic Football' that isn't going to get anything out of this group of players, least of all Pogba. Not that it should be all about Pogba either.

Call me an old fashioned fan with red tinted glasses but feck me, 3 defenders, five defenders or whatever that wretched display was is not the Utd way. Cowardly football

Jose out. Clueless lineup, substitutions and tactics. Outplayed by fecking West Ham.

Every single player was incredibly shite today. We are at that stage where our rivals start to take pity on us. Grim indeed.

Wrong tactics, wrong substitutions by what seems to be the wrong manager.

Mourinho has quite obviously lost the dressing room and needs to go. Shouldn't make the same mistake as Chelsea and wait until it's too late to salvage the season.

I'm not a knee-jerk type person, but Mourinho is failing tactically and motivationally. His recruitment has been poor and his selections worse.
It's time now. Move on to someone more suited to our club. Rebuild with players prepared to fight for the cause.

I'm hoping fellow fans don't concentrate on any comments he makes after the game. The issues are: he's not coaching us properly; his man management is terrible; and his constant drama is dragging the whole club down. There's no chance he turns this around, so no need to wait any longer.

They shoulg sack him but wont part with 12 million. WTF McTominay as a CD and we had no central defence for the third, just a straight trot through the middle. Youngs crossing and corner taking attrocious. 60 odd mins for a shot on goal. Lukaku just ambling around. I could go on but just the same old shit all the while

About time fans protested outside the ground in mass but most are too cowardly to bother.

We are so lost right now. Can't defend, can't attack, can't hold possession, can't win it back. No structure, no idea and no hope it seems.

As the spurs game showed, we can deal with losing if there is a plan and some heart shown. This though is hard to watch, even LVGs team looked better than this.

When you set up to be negative against West Ham, things need to be reevaluated

One off those days guys. Every big team has some day off here and there.

I had a bit of a go at posters when we were only 1-0 down and stand by the point we shouldn't have been so mercilessly negative at that point, but it was a poor day overall and criticism was certainly justified in the end.

Beyond that, I think Mourinho needs to go. He's not washed up but we're still in the process of building a team and I don't think he's the type of manager we need for that. There's a lot of deficiencies that money won't solve but good man-management might.

How low can we go from now
Even with fecking moyes and lvg our start still better than this

It's looking like his third season at Chelsea all over again.

They lost three of their opening seven games too. (They were still in the League Cup at this stage though).

I'll say it again. I have seen us win enough trophies to last a lifetime. I just want to enjoy watching us play again, if trophies come with that then that's just a bonus. We are horrible to watch and honestly the players look drained of any passion for the game. I've seen us play some crazy line ups under Fergie but even then every player went out there and looked up for it and played for each other.

Actually too disaffected at this stage to have a go at the manager or the players or anything to do with the club.

Shambolic. Pathetic. Lifeless. Cowardly. I could go on and on.

Just sigh..

Goes from bad to worse. Pleased Rashford got his goal but that is about it. We just looked utterly devoid of any ideas or belief, it was slow and insipid, and worst of all not really a surprise.

As much as I hate sacking managers, I think Jose's position is becoming untenable. It was a very negative line up today, but it seems he has alienated half the squad and at the moment I just don't back him to unite them.

Now fearing for the worst on Tuesday night now.

Should be sacked under gross misconduct to get out of paying 12 million, we'd surely have a point after this season

I'm not a knee-jerk type person, but Mourinho is failing tactically and motivationally. His recruitment has been poor and his selections worse.
It's time now. Move on to someone more suited to our club. Rebuild with players prepared to fight for the cause.

Is there anyone available to take over?
