I’m starting to get really worried about the mentality of this team.
Why is it so rare that we play well for more than half a game?
Why is it so rare that we play well for more than half a game?
Mate they had way more chances in that game than we did. We don't create enough, we don't score enough and we capitulate any time the crowd gets a bit noisy or a team presses us a bit.Bruno scores that chance and it’s game over! The story of our season, spurn chance after chance and then get punished at the other end.
I don't even think we were that good first half - we gave away so many chances
Nah this is not on ETH. All his subs made sense. Spurs just wanted it more. They didn't want to look like they've already given up before their own fans I guess. That's on Ten Hag I'm afraid. Subs completely changed the game and not in a good way.
You bring on Martial and Fred, and you're basically playing with an entirely new system. Why, when it was working so well in the first half?
Felt harsh for Sancho to be taken off and Martial's pathetic performance didn't justify it at all.
Exactly!! There was always going to be a reaction from them and to play with such pathetic intensity in response of that at the start of the 2nd half. Shocking!Tottenham aren't a crap side, either. People have fallen too much for the loss against Newcastle; that was well below their level.
I would say that a point was good, to be honest. I think people are forgetting that Tottenham have a good record against big clubs in recent years.
And Weghorse was crapFeel for ETH, he wants to make changes but the players coming on all let him down.
Every sub bar Weghorst was crap.
Could be a massive 2 points dropped come end of season.
People before the game going on about how we'll batter them. It amazes me that after so many years people still don't get this team. These players think they are better than they are and the moment they get comfortable you know it's trouble. The way we started the 2nd half, you could see this coming. Spurs were always gonna come all guns blazing and to start the 2nd half the way they did....
Also, the majority won't wanna hear it but none of ETH's signings have been great this season. There's been periods Casemiro and Eriksen have looked great but equally matches where they are so poor. Major question marks over Antony and Malacia as well. Martinez is the only unquestionable success this season.
Rashford also bottled a good chance. I'm surprised that rarely mentioned.Bruno scores that chance and it’s game over! The story of our season, spurn chance after chance and then get punished at the other end.
