That's on Ten Hag I'm afraid. Subs completely changed the game and not in a good way.

You bring on Martial and Fred, and you're basically playing with an entirely new system. Why, when it was working so well in the first half?

Felt harsh for Sancho to be taken off and Martial's pathetic performance didn't justify it at all.

For everyone clamouring over Fred, he was absolutely dogshit, misplaced the first three passes in a row.

Apparently the team thought defending in the second half was pointless, allowed Tottenham in so many times so easily with a couple of passes.

Bruno looked injured but has to score from 5 yards out.

That second half is shocking. Zero composure, zero control, poor in game management. Play well look good, arguably could have killed the game off and then BANG, let them back in, they're' up for it, fans are up for it and then it's a capitulation. Ball retention, passing, cohesion, confidence disappears.

Mentally fragile. The moment they started pushing we collapsed. Where are the leaders in the team?

So very poor with the ball too often. Leading up to the second goal both defenders had it covered but, got in each others way, forcing the ball needlessly to De Gea and then Malacia steps out with no chance to win the ball to gift Kane the space.

Bruno putting his chance away though would have killed them though =/

Diabolical 2nd half leading to a lucky point after a good first half. Spurs should have had 4 or more. Kane made all kinds of problems from the flanks against fullbacks and putting the ball into his teammates

Game of two halves, should have been comfortably up in the first half and should have lost the game in the second.

Subs made us worse.

We need our away form to change!

A really poor performance other than 15mins in first half.

A little bit of pressure and we fold. We cannot kill the game.

And the substitutions were appalling. Wieghorst should not be in our midfield at any point.

That 2nd half was brutal. Just casual, complacent, sloppy and let them back in. Back to normal when we conceded the equalizer, but like... Can't let them back in like that.

We
I don't even think we were that good first half - we gave away so many chances

Yeah looked open but also looked dangerous.

This game was literally a Sevilla redux. We weren't dominating from a defensive POV but looked dangerous going forward, and yet he goes and neuters the attack and we end up conceding without any sort of goal threat at the other end.

Wank defending, yet most of the defenders played ok, Fred is strange, Bruno and Shaw superb. Can't believe we let them back into that game but I guess we were tired. Nonetheless disappointing.

A draw is not a disaster but that second half was a big worry; injuries and fatigue have set in and we'll truly be collapsing over the finish line this year. Three wins and a draw from the last seven guarantees top four and likely we'll need less than that, but needing to seal our league position but leave something in the tank for the cup final could be too much to ask for this lot given the state we find ourselves in.

Feck right off with these second half performances. Fred criminal, Case checked out, Antony having one of his useless games. We need more depth on the bench cause this team is spent for this season.

Can't believe it. Should have won this game 5 or 6-0 based on that first half, and we fecking draw it 2-2...which could be considered lucky by just how poor we were in the second half.

Felt like we were managed by two different managers in either half.

We looked so leggy in the 2nd half.
Fred was so poor when coming on, should have brought Sabitzer on instead

This lot dont deserve to be anywhere near the Champions League. They're shite.
Hopefully won't be "this lot" playing in the champions league, cos half of the players who ended the game will be sold. Hopefully...

I would have taken a draw before the game, but boy when we shit the bed we do it in style. We threw that game away, ETH for me gets things right 99% of the time, but the subs tonight were all wrong. And as for Fred……..he seems to either have a worldie or turns up and has a brain fart for however long he is on the pitch. Villa on Sunday will be fun, Emery already has the measure of us and if we play like that…….

So fecking disappointing and feels like a loss. What really annoyed me was when it went to 2-1 we started doing that casual, walking football and kicking the ball around in pointless triangles. Could see that second coming a mile off.

This team need to sort their mentality out when we concede. Dominated a shit team then the subs didn’t help and Fred was magnificently bad.

Casemiro had an odd game.

Deserved that again.

Mentally weak, not sure we make top four now, that's the only one left I expected us to win.

How the hell did Kane get Man of the Match though? He was invisible most of the game. My uncle is a Spurs fan and doesn't get it.

I would have taken a draw before the game, but my god, at half time we should not be drawing that.

I still think the team is just completely knackered after the most packed season almost any squad has ever had and it keeps showing in the second half. Hopefully next season with a better squad it won’t be an issue.

People before the game going on about how we'll batter them. It amazes me that after so many years people still don't get this team. These players think they are better than they are and the moment they get comfortable you know it's trouble. The way we started the 2nd half, you could see this coming. Spurs were always gonna come all guns blazing and to start the 2nd half the way they did....

Also, the majority won't wanna hear it but none of ETH's signings have been great this season. There's been periods Casemiro and Eriksen have looked great but equally matches where they are so poor. Major question marks over Antony and Malacia as well. Martinez is the only unquestionable success this season.

People have been fooled into thinking that Tottenham are a rubbish side. Their performance against Newcastle was crap, but people forget that Tottenham have a great record against big sides in recent years. I would say a draw is a good result.

There are circumstance around this game that people aren't considering. Fatigue was a big issue due to the game on Sunday. There hasn't been any period of recovery, so the second half is not really surprising. Tottenham barely put in any effort against Newcastle, so they were fresh. We were knackered in the second half.

Until we start killing games and being more ruthless in front of goal this is going continue to happen absolutely fed up with the way we play away from home against any half decent side.

Newcastle are playing CL football next season unless we quickly find a way to put teams to the sword this is going to continue to happen. Fred and Mallacia are simply not united quality and need to go. We need to win a very difficult home game this weekend as united still need 4 wins from 7 games

Utterly pathetic and Utterly predictable. This team is so hard to like , every time you think there is progress ,. there is something like this around the corner.

If any team can fumble top 4 from here , it is this Utd team.

And before people start to make excuses about tiredness , this has nothing to do with tiredness , this is the same weak mentally we have been looking at for years now.

A very controlling and composed first half performance, full value for the 2-0 lead. The opposite in the 2nd half and could well have lost however had Bruno hit the net instead of the crossbar it would likely be game over.

As frustrating as it is to let a 2 goal lead slip I would have taken a draw before the game. 14 points from the remaining 7 games to now 100% secure a top 4 finish.

Awful second half, too many below-average players on our bench… shameful not beating this Spurs team, they were there for the taking.

Fred had a shocker. Martial done nothing. Casemiro had another bad game but we should have won that one comfortably. Very disappointing performance in that second half. And Bruno should have buried that chance.

Can anyone else think if a team that's worse at winning from being 2-0 up then Utd? I can't.

Collectively our players just don't have the mentality to play at the level required to win competitions. The start of the second half summed up how the whole team just dropped their intensity and allowed Spurs in...a pathetic Spurs team! Beggers belief how often this has happened this season.

Then why I wonder did we look like s*** before any subs were made.
