Tottenham Hotspur 1:3 Manchester United

Post-match discussion

Hilarious from Richards trying to suggest United are in the same ball park as Tottenham in "rebuilding" as if you're either peak level, or rebuilding and nothing in between

Great second half. Glad we put them to the sword for a righteous victory.
A number of positives too from Henderson in goal, to Greenwood getting on. The scoresheet

Yeah 28 points from losing positions is a bit weak, more handicapping ourselves next year please :lol:
I'm going to start a petition so that points awarded are:
Loss = 0 points
Draw = 1 point
Win = 3 points
Comeback = 5 points

Then watch us wrap up the league every season by Christmas.

On a serious note, I just find come-backs that much more enjoyable and inspiring.

It’s about time he started calling out the refs and having digs at the opposition. The only other time I’ve seen him like this was when he was complaining about the fixture congestion. He needs to moan more just like Klopp and Pep do, and maybe more things will start going his way. His interviews are usually too ‘vanilla’.

Did you not see his interview after the first Everton game?

Great win and performance.

Keane just said re Leicester disciplinary issue....I'm led to believe the players were found in their hotel room watching in a league of their own.....haha

That second half was the best performance of the season, Pogba, Cavani, Mason, Fred, Shaw and AWB were all superb, the craft in our play was a joy to see, I just hope we can see more of that. Henderson was also very strong in goal, he was like a dog pissing on his territory today.

There's plenty of Spurs fans who think they have a better squad than United. It's mental.

It ain't just spurs fans. I was arguing on this forum at start of the season with some united fans on here who laughed when I tried to say that united had the better squad......seriously. wish I could dig that thread out.

The contrast between halves this season has been ludicrous and I’d love to see us start matches more positively.
To be fair, we started well and scored a perfectly good goal that got chalked off because the ref's a fecking idiot, but I otherwise agree.

On a positive note, our ability to get the win after going down, and doing almost always doing it in a very calm and controlled manner, without panicking or resorting to shithousery, speaks volumes about the mentality of this team.
