For many reasons that was our best half of the season. Absolutely brilliant.

Our passing all half was so good.

I don’t understand how we can go from so utterly hopeless to brilliant between halves. I wonder what’s in the half time tea.

Big shout out to AWB today – I thought he was a one man right wing and it makes us so much more irrepressible when we can attack down both sides.

For the first time in ages, we won a big game and it feels like the right flank was more instrumental than the left.

Why is Paul Ince so bitter towards United?
Fergie fired him off, replaced him with Roy Keane and we then ripped the arse out of the league for the next 20 years.

He probably thought he'd be with us a lot longer than he was. He seems a bit like a jilted lover who's never really got over being dumped.

I was gutted when he left, but it didn't last.....

What I really liked about the performance was that it was a proper team performance.
All working for eachother, supporting eachother and playing as a unit.
Some time since I have seen that level of cohesion.
They were all stars today. Difficult to pick one out. And that is the way it should be.
Played like Manchester United should play.

Thought Henderson was great again today. People still questioning why he's getting a run of games starting in the PL surely have to be changing their opinions after that performance.
His best performance in a Utd shirt to date. Made some very good stops but more so than that he was very proactive at sweeping, assured on the ball and commanding when he needed to be. The simple fact for me is that De Gea simply can’t put in those kind of performances any longer.

Who did Jose throw under the bus? I am glad he’s out of this club. Fred turned a diabolical performance into a highlight reel. To say he’s inconsistent is kind. The ref really didn’t give us the benefit of the doubt ever, glad that did not end up costing us the game. We played them off the park second half. Lindelof, Pogba, Shaw, Greenwood, Cavani all excellent. Most of the boys did great. Well done Ole!

Enjoyed Cavani's performance more than anything although Pogba wins MOTM hands down. We were sooo! good in the 2nd half. Title's not won yet. We're in with a shout!

It may have taken us 11 attempts, but...

- We finally beat a Mourinho team at his home ground
- We finally scored more than 1 goal against a Mourinho team at his home ground

I was in absolute awe of the team. It's not easy to come back from not just a goal down but also psychologically from the disallowed goal. The boys were really pumped for this game and it shows how much it means to them after losing to this lot 6-1 earlier on in the season.

Here are my key observations:
  • Cavani deserves a standing ovation, pressed them all game and should have had a brace; he was muttering things to himself even after the game was over
  • The disallowed goal itself is an absolute joke; I would have said otherwise if Son had a legitimate chance of winning the ball but McT was well ahead of him and was trying to push him off
  • We really kicked on several gears in the second half and massive kudos to the team who are basically tireless at this point; we played a game mid-week and produced such a brilliant performance on the weekend
  • OGS deserves a lot of credit to for managing the team; I am sure words were said at half-time that really calmed the players down and they came out much more focused; we started playing our game instead of beating them at theirs
  • Maguire is a rock; period
  • I am typically very critical of Fred but he was everywhere today and the Spurs midfield just couldn't handle him
  • Son is a diving cheating cnut

Absolutely agree. Time this forum acknowledged his contribution a bit more. He's been brilliant defensively for most of the season. This doesn't seem to merit a pat on the back anymore, like we can't remember what is was like to be all over the gaff defensively on the right. And when he contributes offensively, it's invariably used to highlight how rarely he does it. What a contribution he made in the second half.

We were really good today. Top four looks almost guaranteed. We've a trophy still to win. I'm happy tonight.

"Fred even scores, that tells everything about the performance"

Great post....another one for the records under Ole

To be fair, we started well and scored a perfectly good goal that got chalked off because the ref's a fecking idiot, but I otherwise agree.

On a positive note, our ability to get the win after going down, and doing almost always doing it in a very calm and controlled manner, without panicking or resorting to shithousery, speaks volumes about the mentality of this team.

I thought the goal was against the run of play and I felt we got sucked into feeling sorry for ourselves rather than upping our game.

I agree otherwise; we were harshly treated in the first half and were fantastic in the second, so overall a great day's work.

Wow! I always knew Fergie struggled against Jose, but I had no idea the hoodoo had lasted for this long. 17 years. United have squad players that old.

Couldn't watch the match. How was it? How were Burno and Pogba?

Overall rating?
Tottenham filthy
Ref awful
VAR taking it too far as usual with a disallowed great goal for us.
1st half major injustice in general, could have been mentally done in by it. Day all set for smug spurs, Jose and another media field day.

2nd half outstanding, quite literally some of the best football we've played in a long time.
Movement off the ball. One touch. Positioning in transition was on the money.
Pogba embarrassed them in the left channel time and time again. 9 for him.
Cavani hungry and a menace. 9
Bruno was decent as an outlet despite the usual flagrancy with the ball. Drew a fantastic save from Lloris off a left foot shot from range.

A very very good day at the office made sweeter by the swing in emotion.

 Get in there.

Great performance second half (I dont know why we bother with first halves anymore). Cavani was outstanding as were Pogba and Fred.

Disallowed goal was a joke, its a sign of how strong the spirit has become that we didnt fall apart after Son scored.

I asked during the game when did Spurs become a bunch of whinging shits, the moaning at the ref and two con jobs now this season. Mourinho "enraged" by Oles comments about Son is just icing on the cake. You think he would know better than to react.

Zinger of a stat!

IT was a elbow

Are you telling me if that level of contact happens in a crowded penalty area then a penalty is awarded ? Not a chance. It was a disgraceful decision by the referee and VAR (for referring it back). I’d almost question the referees integrity on this one and question his partiality towards Spurs. It will go down in PL history as being one of those groundbreaking, most baffling decisions ever.

Jose promoting thieving.

He was also slammed by the fans for becoming a dipper.
