I didn’t see the game but judging by the highlights, it seemed like we were a bit ropey for the first half hour. Onana’s penalty save seemed to give them a wake up call to get their finger out and as soon as we scored the first goal 2 kind later and then a quick 2nd goal after that, it was curtains for Southampton as their heads just completely dropped.

After the International break this match could easily have been a banana skin but we did a good job, took the 3 points, kept a clean sheet and scored 3 goals, a rarity these days.
Southampton are not a good team but if we're really serious about improving these are matches we have to win.

Was nice to win comfortably for a change and hopefully we get another game like that tonight. The first half an hour was poor but it was impressive how we handled the game after that, considering we wouldn't keep a lead against anyone last season.

True. At 2-0 and with 20 minutes to go thought we'd manage to bottle it again somehow. Thankfully didn't happen this time.
