Are you mental?

Bruno Fernandes is not captain material. He's a good player, like many other's in our squad. He does nothing to warrant any form of special praise and is on a par with Rashford as being our most frustrating player to watch.

He is capable of moments of pure quality. They just don't happen enough. These moments are also overshadowed by utter abysmal play, lack of positional awareness, mis placing simple passes and generally having the body language of a stroppy teenager.

I think your dramatically over hyping Fernandes quality. He's bang average like the majority of our squad.

He doesn't get into the elite premier league teams, yet alone elite European teams. He wouldn't get a start at any team fighting for the top 4, bar us. We wouldn't miss him all that much honestly
Yeah we would, we don't have anybody else that produces anywhere near the quality that he does.

I agree that he can be frustrating, and it speaks volumes about the level of the team that he's by far the best attacking outlet we have, but we absolutely would miss him.

Sack <current manager>, we need the next shiny manager-thing to sort out the mess, <current manager> is out of his depth!

I fear for Amorim already, I feel like he’s the right type of coach we need and that he has the ability to succeed, but the task is massive. He needs 2-3 years, a truck load of money and serious levels of patience from
all corners. It’s difficult to see that happening as we’ve all been here before, several times now . . .
Amorim shall be given 2-3 years, as was ETH and Ole, before him.
If he can show progress and win games, then he will last longer than 3 years.
The issue we have is any top class player who arrives at the club, experiences a performance drop after a few months.
He needs to somehow address this.

We could have easily have bought Milenkovic anytime, Forest paid 12m. He's a fantastic defender.
I think the focus was on buying Dutch players or players who have played in the Dutch league.

Also the officials can once again feck off. They kill the momentum in the game due to their shite technology then have the nerve to only add 7 minutes on at the end when there was clearly more stoppage time than that and the ref blows on exactly 97. Pricks the lot of them.
That's not why we lost.

Whoever says that Bruno is average or anything like that should stop watching football, seriously. As i said before, Bruno is the ONLY class player in our squad, the ONLY one who is creative, and potentially good enough to play in every real top team in Europe. But he is struggling for sure, as his Manchester career is doomed by clueless managers, useless owners and average/below average teammates. No one could really shine in such a bad environment. Still, i appreciate that he hasn't given up yet, fights like Don Quijote anaginst the windmills.

In the past 2 years I would guess about half of his matches were either poor or average. The other half were either good or very good. I would also guess he had about 3 or 4 great matches in that time span. That sort of performance would not get a spot in every top team in Europe. And that sort of performance can't all be blamed on the manager and the system. Some of his poor outings were because he was played too often.

Bruno the past two years has been good. He is not average, not very good and not great.

At their best, I think Shaw, Dalot, Onana, Ugarte and Maguire (yes even him) could start in most of the top teams in Europe. I want to add Diallo and Mainoo but it's too early for that.

Sorry but i had a good laugh. Shaw could be a capable player but he cannot run 100m before he gets injured and he is 30 years old so even mentioning him is unnecesarry. Dalot is just totally mediocre, to be fair he is only a starter even in our team because we have a crap squad but he would be a 5 minute player in any top team. Onana is a joke, great saves but even bigger mistakes, just watch the match against Forest we literally lost because of his poor performance and it wasn't the first time. Too unreliable to be a top keeper, and honestly the only reason why he is in Manchester is ten Hag and his bad signings, Onana is one of them. Maguire is just useless in every sense, sorry. The guy is slow in head, cannot pass the ball, way too old school to play in any top team, and yes, he doesn't even play in our mediocre team. And if he isn't getting any significant playtime in a team which is 13th in the league, why do you think he could do better in a better team? :D Mainoo is still a question, too yound and Diallo, despite looks good in this team but if you compare him to the right wingers of the other teams (Salah, Saka, Yamal, Olise, Bowen, Mbeumo, Neto, Johnson...) he isn' that level yet. Ugarte. Do you actually know why could we sign him? Because he wasn't needed in Paris and it's quite obvious why. He is way too one dimensional. A good defender but poor in passing, forward play.

That is why I said "at their best." BTW, Bruno is also 30. I agree, Ugarte was a bit of a stretch. Isn't there a rumor that Real Madrid are asking about Dalot?
