Jose reciting the alphabet in his post match:lol::lol:

Apparently we have no dignity in Manchester United since this defensive and cowardly approach is even possible to think about.

I knew Mourinho was a coward, but not this big. I really hope Woodward and the board call Mourinho and say that's the absolutely last time he even thinks about having 2 DM and 7 defenders on the pitch at the same time.

I would rather have played the offensive football and lost 4-2 than this shite, I just saw.

I am and has never been the type "to win at any cost". You have some standards, you have to fulfill.

If this cowardly approach continues, then I can't wait for the day, Mourinho is gone.

completely idiotic post.

Yeah yeah Mourinho didn't play the way you wanted, but how can there be so much negativity on this forum? It's incredible. A classic Young cross to Fellaini goal, Lingard rocket into the top corner och Valencia's first goal in 3 years, and yet people still complain?

We won 3-1 away against a team many people on here thought we would draw against. We're no longer 6th after like a year it seems in that position and it's the perfect way to win before the international break. The players will be eager to come back and keep on winning. The players, the manager, the staff, everyone are happy except people on this forum.

Not brilliant and nowhere near as professional as the past few away wins (thanks Victor for not continuing to be the 100th keeper to have their game of the season against us) but a win is a win however ugly it is. Not sure about the eight(!) at the back tactic, Jose, we had the speed to win this four or five nil but there were some good performances. Rashford was good but he must start to put the ball away in one-on-ones but man of the match for me was between Valenica, Jones and Rojo. And I was yelling blue murder at Valencia for not finding Rashford at the end not realising he had a cunning plan! I do hate it when we sit back and allow teams on to us - even at the height o our powers we aren't good at that

If you surrender everything to the opposition for 20 min. and your back-line if of our quality you are in trouble. Mata guarantees that the ball is not always with the opposition and taking him off and playing with 6 – 7 defenders was a mistake. Thanks God for Boro’s lack of luck and quality and Valdes of course …

Smalling and Jones scare me, the way they play. United certainly needs at least one centre back. I prefer two new ones.

Bailly seemed very unsure a few times today and he caused Boro's goal with his feeble attempt at heading the ball out.

Rojo is growing on me.

Well, what more can one say about Tony V. Beast!

Smalling just has very bad feet. I'd keep Jones. Bailly does not play well on the right of a 3. Rojo really stepping up.

Happy with the win, not happy with the tactics at the end that completely handed the ties of the game over to Boro. But we won, so I guess the ends justify the means.

Unfair on Jose people moaning?

He knows his players. Just finding a way best way to win games. He's mostly succeeding.

Boro are certain to go down, awful side

Oh and I don't care how we won, we wanted Jose to turn us into winners and today we won

Has Steve Agnew only recently gone bald? His face has a tan but not his head.

I really don't understand the defence of the substitutions, we had the chance to make positive changes at 2-0 and see out the game comfortably, it's not like we were sitting on a one goal lead with a few minutes to go.

A win is all that really matter and I don't mind how we get it at this stage.

We play our best attackers, take 25 shots on goal, draw 0-0 and everyone whinges.

We go overly defensive, play counter-attack, win 3-1, and jose has "embarrassed" the club by subbing on so many defenders.

There is no middle ground on this forum. Everything we do is wrong according to X group of fans.

It's a joke this place sometimes it really is.

Smalling made it so much harder for us with a terrible mistake, the guy is cabbage.

I absolutely agree. The guy is so awkward on the ball. He can't use his left foot to save his life. The other one I despise at the club is Jones. Those 2 are absolute waste of human skin. Seriously need to have them out if we plan on continuing with the 3 CB formation.

Last half hour was really quite poor, Smalling was making me extremely nervous, but a 3-1 away win can't be moaned about too much.

Bringing on defenders for attackers and inviting more pressure on tired legs and minds does not help us with freshness at all. We took off Mata and resorted to pumping it long to Rashford who could win nothing at all in the air. It was not just cowardly and negative, it was foolish tactics.
3 points in the bag, what more do we want?

Did the business with a very depleted team can't complain too much.
Smalling should never play again
Surprised Lingard managed to score.
Enough said really, not looking forward to the internationals how boring :annoyed:
Summed up perfectly.

Great goal Lingard. Even better celebration.

This seems to have been lost amidst all the moans, but what a great run and goal from Lingard!
Gets so much stick, but doesn't get the chance to play in his favoured position too often.
Good display today

Forgot to say, thought Carrick conrtrolled the game fo about 85 minutes and Fellani had a good game too

Rojo for Mata and six (seven?) at the back will dominate the post match discussion, and rightly so, if it's a sign of things to come, as that can't be acceptable here. If it was done to mitigate fatigue and lack of first choice players, then I can accept it.

You live and die by results in this game, and we got the three points. Top four looking good again.

2-0 against Boro, who haven't scored in ages and he changes to 6 back, what the heck is that? That is not the United way, not even close.
The most brilliant part, is that they actually managed to score against 6 defenders.
Shocking!

I do agree that right now we need all the points we can get, but 6 defenders against a team that doesn't score, is embarassing.

Happy for Lingard, good game and great goal.

Wonder what happened in the tunnel after the match, and if they will do anything wit the Bailly-Gestede incident.

Tara. Wait on a another forum.

He has had a poor season. Was last year an outlier for him, and is this really his level? If a new centre half is brought in, I think he is the first one out. Pity, he has all the ingredients to be a top class defender, I just think he cannot concentrate for the full 90 minutes.
