Post-match discussion

Nice to have most of the squad back for a match, amazing that we can deservedly beat City when we do.

ETH doing his farewell rounds.

Certainly feels that way.

Didn’t enjoy a game like that in a long long time. Thanks the players for that. We are finishing the season on the high.

What a great game. What a great goal that was !

After the battering we've taken in the last 3-4 years, we deserved this. Wonderful performance. Wonderful win.

Realising we knocked those Geordie bastards out of Europe is a nice little cherry on top :D:drool:

Win the FA Cup, beating the bent blue cnuts

Relegate Chelsea into the conference league

Deprive the Geordies of European football.

Perfect day, I'm getting biblically smashed, cheers!

First half from Bruno was 10/10 perfection. Passes, feints, every decision correct.
Varane going out with a MotM performance at the back.

What a performance everyone gave everything

Varane was absolutely brlliant
Amrabat gave his best performance he was everywhere

What a day, even if the last 10 were torture

Well done to our lads today, worked really hard and got a deserved win.

City fans will moan about not being given a penalty but they get loads of soft ones all through the season so its about time one went against them.

The fact that we've dropped Chelsea to Conf and Newcastle dumped out of Europe is just the chefs kiss.

So happy. Well done lads. Been a tough season but delighted we pulled a great team performance out the bag at the end.

This is a huge boost for everyone - players and fans.

Enjoy it. I might allow the team dinner now.

As an aside, Karen Cairney has got a god awful voice.

I'm actually a little emotional. Proud. They were excellent, played the appropriate tactics against this City team. Good, structured, organisation won us that game. And the youngsters scored the goals, and it is them who have kept us through this season.

City were dreadful, but who cares.

What does it mean moving forward, probably not so much.

But. It shows, after everything, everything this season, it shows a resilience about Manchester United which is all we as fans want. Organisation, resilience, commitment.

The rest takes care of itself.

Good post.
Didn't think all the ramifications.

Great TEAM effort, which is what we've been missing most of the season.

Mainoo is beyond all belief. We see brilliant forwards from time to time at this age, but hence ever seen a teenage central midfielder this brilliant?

fecking brilliant!!

Delighted for ETH, the players and most importantly, us fans. Even in our one of our worst league seasons we still won the highest domestic cup.

Also feck off 115 and 115’s cnut of a manager

COME ON THE BOYS!!!

Great effort that, should’ve shown that all season.

Bruno was brilliant but he tries so hard he’s always running on fumes at 70 minutes. Not sustainable!

Varane was a titan, nice that he gets to leave on a high note. The agony and the ecstasy of Onana… but whatever, we won so I’ll leave that complaint for another day

Good ending to an awful season. A tin cup and a European campaign that we need for the money. Goals from two teenagers particularly pleasing. We never really looked threatened, despite conceding loads of territory and a somewhat soft goal at the end. And it's sunny in Manchester today. God is a red.

Unreal stuff lads! Unreal! No one would have backed us, including most of us. Tactics were spot on and City didn't really significantly trouble us apart from a spell. They got luck with their goal, as did we with our first. But the second was pure class. So good. Love that our scorers were both from our youth system who were given a chance by Ten Hag.

I'm gonna enjoy this buzz for the night!

Mainoo motm for me
But credits to all the players
Everyone did their best

100% sure Rashford is leaving, very emotional, guess it has just struck him he won't see this again.

I didn’t think I’d enjoy this win this much but I really have. Great to win a trophy and against that cnut Pep made it even sweeter.

Was a good all round disciplined performance too with the Onana factor in just to add even more stress.
