Anyone else notice the silver runners up medals given to Man City had a red ribbon on them and the fireworks was blue? the FA had themselves convinced City was going to win that final.

Gold medals had light blue ribbons, confirmation of your theory.

1. No players over the age of 25 to be signed
2. No ‘Galacticos’
3. Technical director Jason Wilcox will set the style of play
4. The manager will be asked what positions he wants to sign, rather than individual players
5. The manager will then have a list of three potential signings per position to choose from

I don't read that as Wilcox setting in match tactics for individual games. I interpret that as meaning if ETH is sacked, in the future we will employ managers who play a specific style of play, one chosen by the club (Wilcox).

It is a massive stretch to assume that means Wilcox chose the tactics against City. I dont think he will interfere with the managers decisions.
