From a man management perspective there was absolutely no discipline or cohesion in the final third. He should have been off the touch line giving an earful but they all just continued to do their own thing.Outclassed by a better team and a better manager.
Can we talk about Ole's in game management???
He doesn't need a break. He's always been like that even in previous clubs.Decent first 45, became worse in the second, but overall this was a fairly close game. One important thing is Martial.. I have had it with that guy. He is at best decent, and at worst as much of a sabotage as AWB.
Oh, and Fernandes is in A MASSIVE need of a break. Ole... jesus christ, learn to manage.
Martial wasn't that dear...Chelsea are owning their £80m mistake, we ought to do the same.
Fret not, there's still hassanhuttlttll at Southampton. As an Ole outter I'm quite happy, it's been a tough time recently but hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the Norwegian fraud and his lutefisk brand of football.
It's just a shame now that Poch is at PSG because we still had an opportunity to be saved.
Embarrassing performance and result. Our approach to this fixture since LVG has always been embarrassing anyway. Spend all those millions and play park the bus & try counter-attacks all the time at your home. Let City take control of the ball and the control of the game like midtable clubs. We were defending while we were losing and that says it all about the difference between two team's approach.
LVG was completely right: All Ole knows is park the bus and counter. His in-game management or signings are not better than his subpar coaching either. If we kept Smalling and didn't sign that slabhead we would've been much better both in defense and also in attacking set pieces. That £80m should've been used for a RW. Not for a player that solved nothing in our defence. Smalling-Bailly would've been a much better CB partnership than Maguire-Lindelöf.
Not impressed with Henderson. Downgrade on Romero.
