Tale of two halves. First half very poor. Second half absolute destruction. Should have scored more. Clean sheet also, which is quite the feat against Leicester. Very good.

Sexy goals!!! Great result without Casemiro for once. We got lucky with the Sabitzer foul, should have gotten a red. Happy Sancho scored, should have gotten two but a good reaction by the defender.

That second half was incredible.

Rashford, DDG, Bruno and Lindeloff were all great today.

Feel for the Workhorst but he's 100% scoring the winner vs Barca and/or Newcastle

We're in the title race

Still Arsenal’s to lose to be fair. 8 points gap if they win their game in hand

Leicester outplayed us for large periods in the first half. Degea made some awesome saves to keep us in it. Rashfords goal against the run of play was taken clinically.
ETH reorganised 2nd half and we purred like a finely tuned engine.
sabister was outstanding in midfield, Rashford Sancho, Bruno were class. WW was a little unlucky he had 2 good chances , he needs bit of luck but his overall play and work rate was very good. Pundits were too harsh on him imo.

Also Sabitzer was pretty good but might have gone under the radar , noticed him at both ends and in the middle.

4 days of rest now, no traveling. A fully fit Casemiro, some rest for Shaw and Rashford today too. Sancho also getting more confident each day.
Although Freds assist was nice today, I‘d love to see a full 90min Casemiro-Sabitzer duo vs Barcelona.

Lovely once we got 2 up.

How bad were Leicester though in that second half. No fight at all.

Weathered the early storm and needed a few good saves from Dave.

Great to see us finishing strongly. It was a shame Weghorst didn't get a goal as a reward for all his hard work. Delighted for Sancho. Hopefully he can keep contributing for the remainder of the season and it was good for Mainoo to get some minutes. He looked very composed albeit under very little pressure.

Sluggish start but given the relentless fixture list and the changes its perhaps understandable

Thankfully we've a keeper who made 2 great saves, a striker that doesn't miss atm and a manager who sees problems and knows how to fix them.

Second half was brilliant.

What excites me most is not only are we a proper team already but there's clearly obvious places we can upgrade and improve.

I love ten hag

Navigated a difficult fixture with ease in the end. The changes ETH made at half time changed the game.

It was more like a routine win for United, we need more of these kind of games. The game was literally almost over with more than 30 minutes to play, the lads could easily have scored more goals on another day. However, the opponents gave a good account of themselves in the opening half, before United seized control of the game. De Gea's double early saves were very crucial. Great result for United.

First half was really poor, at least until the last 10 mins where we got some semblance of control. Second half we played some outstanding, incisive football.

Isn’t it nice to be a really good team again?

Sancho was brilliant and changed the game in the second half.

Wout is… well… he tries.
I still can’t get used to it. I keep expecting us to transform back into the turd we embodied for so long….but every week it doesn’t happen

Loved seeing some tackles fly in as well, even 3-0 up. Lot to like about this team

Those 2 saves from Dave de goallie were important and a much better performance in that second half. Sancho looks good in the 10 position.

first 5 mins great next 20 shit until Rashfords goal. De Gea kept us in the game.
2nd half and a bollocking later fantastic. Sabitzer could have had a red, so we lucked out there, but the commitment after.
2 gripes. Weghorst isnt working at all and I was hoping Rash might have been left on for his hatrick, but can understand why he was subbed.

Nervy viewing during the first half and a great watch second half. Delighted for Sancho getting a goal. Roll on Thursday!

Great second half. EtH always says the right things at half time i guess and he always has to be the boss man, the way he removes anybody who doesn't perform is exactly how it should be. Fred is so tedious to watch but thankfully it's the last of him since Casemiro will be back with Sabitzer from here on in. Rashford great, De Gea great, Sancho great, Bruno great, Defenders great. Sad for Weghorst though. He tries so hard, deserves some luck and goals.

Great result.
Clean sheet.
Varane rested.
McT back
Cassimero suspension done.
Rashford again
Sancho with some more confidence boost.

All positives.

Excellent result. Can't complain. The football in the second half is simply fantastic. More of the same please

Never expected a 3-0 win during this busy schedule against a revived Leicester team, not before the game and not at half-time.
Second half was superb, the levels of energy from our players were incredible.
Rashford again MOTM. Even Fred was good after half time. Bringing Sancho on was a very good move from ETH.

Very happy with that result. Especially after a tricky first half, Leceister should have had at least two but for DDG. Time to get Rashford tied down. Everytime he gets the ball it feels like something good is going to happen.

De Gea motm for me. Rashford is unplayable, Sancho with a great showing and Bruno was brilliant too.
Hoping Arsenal and City drop points more than ever now!

Tell you what I was impressed we came out well, for the first 5 minutes thought it would be one of those days of matter of time when we scored but, LC did really well and then I got really pessimistic. First goal definitely came against the run of play and thank goodness despite all the statistic people throw out to discredit DDG shot stopping, he is still out of this world at those saves he made.

Second half, ETH showed his class, getting Rashford to his preferred side meant that LC would not be risking as much going down their right with Castange, bringing on Sancho also was smart since Garnacho was struggling. Some beautiful football and took complete control of the game.

Big plus to have McTomminay back as an option too, hopefully we get either Antony or Martial available for Thursday on top of that in time for having options in the final.

I said just before half time that Ten Hag was furious and he would rip them a new one. We came out and absolutely destroyed them.

Very happy with that result. Especially after a tricky first half, Leceister should have had at least two but for DDG. Time to get Rashford tied down. Everytime he gets the ball it feels like something good is going to happen.

The chance where he beat 3 defenders was awesome

Greater than the sum of their parts. When since Fergie have we said that. Unbelievable, we are truly out of the wilderness. Luke Shaw and Rashford - the two best players in the league at the moment. Incredible turnaround under ETH we’ll have the league title within 2 years.

Bad 1st, great 2nd half. Sabitzer and Sancho were very good, not to mention Rashford, he's electric.

Mentality ETH had installed in this team is fantastic. Habit of winning is very important and we keep doing it. The best part is we need few additions yet we're 5 points of the top.

Onwards and upwards!

Shaky start but Rashford again came through. The whole team played really well after that.

As I said in the other thread anyone with an ounce of humanity is willing Weghorst to score today. The guy's workrate was fantastic. Sabitzer was really good too.

Key Takeaways for me:

1) Rashford will end up being our no.9. I don't think we will sign a starting striker, maybe a backup. He works well in the 4141. Bruno and Sancho benefit from his runs.

2) Sabitzer and Fred together are terrible. We survived the three games in spite of it. Sabitzer is not as good at DM as I thought he could be, Fred's positioning is terrible. Mctominay coming on brought more structure just from being slightly more defensive.

3) We've unlocked Sancho. Opening up his game to a more of a free role where he can float is really opening up his game. His passing accuracy in dangerous areas and his use of space is great through the middle. It could make us even better on the counter. His style right now has a touch of Odegaard about it. I'm excited about this because I can see him joining Rashford and Bruno into the world class realm, potentially being better than both if we can get him to consistency.

4) Maguire needs to be sold. As bad as Fred and Sabitzer were, what today exposed is that moving the ball through the back doesn't have to be a laborious as it was against Leeds last week. Fred and Sabitzer may have exposed our backline to threats, but it was Maguire who made our game when we had the ball tepid and indecisive.
