Two standout memories from last night.

1. Lenny on the ball in their half, directing Bruno and Garnacho, amazing to see and a le el of maturity and confidence he maintained all game.

Hopefully he’s starting to settle and maybe LCB suits him better.

2. Robbie Cabbage begging for Dorgu to be sent off and sticking it to Utd all game. I can’t stand his negativity to us now we’re rubbish, he shouldn’t be allowed into the ground

Savage wouldn’t say a bad word under ETH, the guy who gave his son a run out.

We spent 50 M on a clown of a goalkeeper.

I think they’ll buy another LCB option because Yoro will move back to the right. There is a genuine risk of him being beaten in the channels and not being able to make a tackle with his left foot on the left side. Both Martinez and Shaw are not showing any fitness consistency to have an impact on the team. Once we have that, it will probably be De Ligt who will move back into the Center.

Harry is most likely going to go at the end of next summer on a free, when we will try to replace him from the academy.

The squad needs much more investment in the midfield and attack, so hard to think that we will find the money for more than 1 CB signing.
With such a drastic change in formation and player profiles were genuinely a long time away from Amorim having the 11 and squad he wants.

He's already admitted that De Ligt and Maguire don't suit his ideal set up. Even though De Ligt has been playing very well. Personally I don't see the potential in Ayden Heaven as a LCB, but he's clearly been signed as potential for the future. I knew we'd look to sign the odd England youth player going forward with how many English players we've let go over the last couple of years too.

Branthwaite was one we looked at for this reason too. We can't just sack off Shaw, Rashford, Lingard, Sancho, Maguire, AWB and not expect us to try and sign some of the best young English talent for the long run. I expect us to try again in the summer. So it would be interesting if there is up and coming, promising English talent in positions like CB, CM and No 10.

Was there any interview with Dorgu where they asked him what actually happened on the first goal? I've watched it a few times now. Maybe it was an attempt at a flick over to Maguire, but he made extremely poor contact? Or he forgot we were playing in red?

People saying Dorgu didnt deserve a red need to take off their red tinted glasses

Imagine it was an ipswich player who did that foul. Not in a million years there would be a discussion about it

Robbie Cabbage was an abu in his commentaries for years, before mellowing whilst his son Charlie was playing for our u-18 & u-21 teams. However, since we sold Charlie to Reading, he has reverted to spouting abu nonsense again.

Yoro has said in an interview that he prefers LCB over RCB.

I'd imagine that Amorim and Ten Hag both would've wanted him to be the RCB with a left footed player at LCB like Martinez or Martinez's eventual taller and more mobile replacement.

Yoros being moved around to accommodate Maguire, De Ligt, Martinez at this point but he'll obviously settle in one or the other when we sign more centre backs over the coming windows.

I could see us signing two more CBs in the next 2 windows. A LCB to replace/compete with Martinez, or a RCB if Amorim concedes that Yoro will be the LCB long term.

Also a CB with pace and height that is capable of being the CB in a high line that he eventually wants to play.

Only Yoro completely suits Amorim for the long term. Neither Martinez, De Ligt or Maguire suit a high line and will eventually be replaced/forced out.

I hope De Ligt or Martinez aren't the next to go though until we have better alternatives. Maguire has signed the extension as we'd be stuck otherwise. Lindelof leaves in the summer and will be immediate priority to replace with another CB in the summer.
Surely Mazraoui enters the picture as RCB? In my view, he has looked much more effective there than at RWB.

First time in Man United history that two centre backs scored in a Premier league game.

Against Fulham, we should start Maguire and de Ligt up front ….. they’ll get more goals than Hojlund and Zirkzee.

That's a great little bit of trivia

Shit happens, we won. Who cares about the first goal. Our first goal was them scoring an own goal, don't see anybody talking about that. We can be annoyed by Onana maybe, because he does some shit in almost every single game. But Dorgu is a kid, new to the team and the club, going hard on him for the goal or the red card is not cool. Dorgu is a good player. We won the game. We keep supporting him
I never say anything about not supporting him nor being critical about him. I am just talking factually as the post mentioned that he wasn't at fault.

When does he ever get into position for one? And is this why he practically never wins a 50/50 ball, or a holdup play? Or why he can't beat a defender? Or regularly do something useful with the ball on the occasions he gets it? The truth is every defender in the PL by now know that if you just get stuck in, he's neutralised. He doesn't have the strength, quickness, technical ability or smarts to beat that.
how the hell do we know.. show me some clips of him getting as decent pass. then try to find one when he's made a run into the area. True, some of this can only be seen live and not on TV

Facts without context are useless.

Fact: tomatoes are fruit. Context - you still shouldn't use it in a fruit salad.
