Total b*llocks.

Not one player put in any effort. Would have rather seen a bunch of kids trying than see a performance like that.

Should be celebrating getting to a final, and I should think that most are totally p*ssed off.

People, saying he picked the wrong team

I actually dont think he rotates enough.

A few regulars looked very tired out there
True. We should rotate a bit more on Sunday. THing is we can't rotate in midfield without hurting us.
Schweini to start vs Wigan? :D

We are the famous Man United, and we are in fact off to Wembley.

Apart from that, dear me that was dire. Sloppy and complacent while somehow nervous and inept at the same time. I'm personally not that bothered about the unbeaten run ending, we got through the tie which is what counts and if the players are even slightly annoyed at losing it; good, we need to be much better than this.

Terrible performance, terrible game but job done. Penalty was a joke, obviously.

Well we are through to the finals, but that was a shite performance from pretty much everyone.

Now, Moss' incompetence did not really matter in the end, but when will the refs stop fecking shafting us? One of the most ridiculous penalty calls i've seen. If that's a pen, then there would be about 50 of them each game

Worst performance of the season barring the Chelsea hammering. I think the players thought the tie was over before the game had even kicked off.

A few players playing for us wouldn't look out of place for Hull. Darmian, Lingard and Smalling.

If you had to pick a game to end the unbeaten run, it'd be 2-1 in the second leg of a cup tie that we're already 2 goals up in.

In some ways, it's good that the pressure has eased.

Bailly will come back in to play with Jones. That ought to improve the defence 50%

Awful management, awful performance. I know redcafe has almost turned into a dictatorship re: criticising mourinho but you have to question the character of a manager who will play lingard over martial, and let superstar players put in half arsed performances like that without retribution. Shocking stuff from the pathetic one.

Was picking my man of the match and it dawned on me how shite everybody was.

Carrick has been crap for weeks now and its not been noticed.

Playing Smalling, Darmian and Jones together is plain stupid!!!

Just don't get why he didn't play Shaw and TFM tonight.

What a shit fest.
Smalling Jones Darmian and Rojo (at left back) is just :wenger:
Rooney never will be a winger and totally neglected any defensive responsibilities.
Let us at least win this sorry excuse of a cup now.
The only positive is that Moss probably burned some calories today. Let's just hope that he doesn't reward himself with a bucket of ice-cream for a game well refereed.

Bit funny calling out Darmrian when he is half the reason why we came into this match 2-0 and not 1-0.

Yeah, because it is only on the basis of this match I am basing this opinion.

The rest of his career with us has been a true revelation like..

By all means rotate but change the formation to suit it. Playing that midfield 3 with the only 'wide' player being a 19 year old striker is awful. He seemed to decide who was being dropped by drawing names out of a hat, there was no balance to it at all.

All of them were second best to hull today. Why we keep hitting it long and up in the air for, especially first half god knows

First time United will wear red in a cup final since 2010, our last League Cup final.

One thing i didn't need to learn is Smalling and Lingard are dogshit....

Smalling is the human equivalent of panic button. A player that had the opportunity to play with greats like Vidic, Rio, Evra, Scholes, etc but cannot keep composure when in possession.

First half was abysmal, second half a bit better, lot of players below par.
Rashford gets my MoM for most effort trying to get something going in attack as the other wing was totally absent without leave.
Both full backs didn't overlap.

Consolation, if there was one game we could afford to lose, it was this one.
We're in the final.

Boring. Can't be arsed to get pissed off at the lazy players. We are in the final and that's the important thing.

Let's not play this shit against Hull in the league or that's 3 points gone.

Only United get to Wembley but make it feel shite.

José showing why he's the best there is. Away to Hull, who barely have a team, and only losing by one goal to take us through to the final is the stuff of dreams. I think it's safe to say we're back, boys.

Pleased that we're in the final, but the game alone was poor considering it was against a hull team who'd made a number of changes. At time it seemed reminiscent of LVG, ponderous, not much cohesion, slow, even nervous. Just feels 'meh' after the game

More frustrated than happy, mainly because of the performance. We played like crap. Players didn't seem to care. Lost our unbeaten run (frustrating AF). We've been playing like this for a while now and it's worrying.

But we're in the final and I hope we win it and if we do, it might give the players some confidence that can help us get top 4.

It is NEVER a good thing to end an unbeaten run.

I'd quite like Hull to stay up. We've played them about 50 times this season and each game they've matched or bettered us, really. I quite like Marco Silva and I think his transfer strategy isn't bad either.

I thought he got the selection completely wrong. I would have used Carrick in the stoke game and played Mata and Martial on the flanks for this game with Rashford or Rooney up top. Smalling looks to be back to the pre-LvG era. I wouldn't mind seeing him sold, Bailey is three times the defender.

No matter what anyone says I don't think Lingard is a man utd starter no matter the match. He should only be used as an impact sub, he seems to play it safe more often than not as a winger/inside forward, but when he comes on he seems to realise he's required to bring an impetus to the team, but this seems to vanish when he starts a game.
