Guess not everyone saw the game as most of us did.
I wouldn't expect anything different from a Liverpool fan. The Times is utter shit these days. Murdoch rag.

Wait a second - is that headline real?I wouldn't expect anything different from a Liverpool fan. The Times is utter shit these days. Murdoch rag.

If that's real it's ridiculous...Dunno. I won't fork out for the paywall. Wouldn't surprise me though.

Like what you've said here. Dirty feckers those journalists!Ignore them. United have been mediocre for the last 10 years according to some of them. Just will make their surprise and shock when we eventually win the league again all the more enjoyable.
Or look at it as a positive: we're judged to a higher standard than every other team in the country so therefore: biggest club in the country and they know it.

I wouldn't dignify Smith with the title "journalist".
Matt le Tiss praised us on Sky Sports, was very impressed with us and that we controlled the game. This is incredible. Probably our best performance of the season and definitely our best away performance.
Fantastic team performance. Tactics were spot on and an excellent response to the Arsenal defeat.
Yep I completely agree with you, I gave him a 9/10 and thought he was head and shoulders our best player today. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that he's the best CB in the league by a mile on this form, absolutely brilliant. As good as Herrera was today (and he was excellent), I can't believe Smalling isn't MotM up there today. First time I've ever given a 10/10 on the Caf - he gave a simply faultless centre back performance.

All il say is now that it's been one of those days on the pitch. And to add to the fact that Uniteds defence is one of the worst in The league is hard to take.
From Grand Old team
it does make you wonder the potential the squad actually has, if used correctlyHerrera is the missing piece.
Rooney is the broken piece.
Enough said....
Its like they just cant see Smalling's brilliance..he's better than any defender they have. Then I wonder which team has the best defence in the League according to them.
Yeah, who would've thought that after he got sent off against City? I hope he keeps progressing.Herrera was brilliant and some others were very good, but Smalling was my first 10/10 this season, at the moment he is absolutely someone we could'nt replace.

Smalling was good but people giving him 10/10 is a bit excessive. He was up against Lukaku not Messi, and they only put us under any pressure for about 15 minutes in the entire game.
