If they appeal and lose wouldn't it push the ban back a game and he would miss the final.
Only if they deem it as a frivolous appeal I think, if we did appeal I don't think it will be frivolous because I for one don't see violent conduct watching that

A bit of pushing and shoving is nothing, having your hands around someone's neck is a red car every time
Then Ayew should have been sent off too as he had his hands around Fred's neck.

It was silly from Casemiro but the ref completely fecked us. It's the softest interpretation of violent conduct you'll ever see. In fact, I doubt you'll ever see another red card like that in the EPL again ever.

It's especially galling as that little albino cnut Hughes was mouthing off and trying to throw himself into the middle of the melee until Casemiro grabbed him. Can't see how one of those things was more violent than the other.

Was a good display up until then. fecking hate Palace. fecking hate Viera. fecking hate Mariner and whatever little goblin was on the VAR today.

Sabitzer looked good. Him and Fred should be enough to see us through until the final.

I'm not woke in any sense whatsoever but I'm confused as why you are allowed to refer to Hughes as "that little albino cnut"

If the same actions had been committed by one of the other Palace outfield players then what pejorative relating to their skin would you have used then?

We are where we are because Martinez and Varane are world class basically. It's like having Rio and Vidic back.

As an attacking force though we are still worryingly clueless. Weghorst and Antony were both dire today and Rashford was hit and miss.

Think Rashford's goal killed off Palace and we'd went on to score another 1-2 if it wasn't for that red card. Shame but huge 3 points given the circumstances.

Martinez MotM easily.

We need to stop takin our foot off the gas after ONE goal. The intensity drops off a cliff every single time we take a lead. Its ridiculous. Thank goodness for that second goal or we would have dropped points for no fecking reason today.

I could not agree more than this. It's absaloutely infuriating. The reverse game two weeks ago being another example. It must be very hard to resolve for whatever reason otherwise ETH would have it sorted out by now.

Then Ayew should have been sent off too as he had his hands around Fred's neck.

Without question. Is there a chance of a retrospective red card since Narroner clearly did not see it, or is that an ancient rule that’s been long since buried?

Jesus wept, are you implying that I'm somehow being racist towards Hughes? Or accusing me of being racist due to a hypothetical comment, which you've created in your your own head by the way, that I didn't make? If skin colour is the first thing that came to your mind, then maybe you're the one who needs to examine why exactly you think in those terms?

I think it's fairly obvious that I'm angry at the little bastard, and he happens to have exceptionally pale skin and almost white blonde hair. Palace fans affectionately refer to him as the 'Albino Messi'. Are you going to individually contact each of them, and ask them what pejorative term relating to skin colour they'd refer to him with, if he wasn't in fact a white man from Surrey?

You're obviously not woke, because you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Go to bed, mate.

What's wrong with being woke (in the original sense, not the boomer-appropriated meaning)? This isn't GB News forums.

Assume you’ve not seen the angle that shows he had hold of his shirt not his neck?
I've seen the whole thing and in some of it he clearly has both hands round his neck, he's not literally choking him but you can't put your hands on a player like that and expect to get away with it

I mean grabbing someone who is kicking off by the collar to pull them away isn’t violent conduct. Surely you don’t think it is?

It was more than the collar, anyway ETH says Case crossed the line so who can argue with that

Nah Antony is still improving every game, Weghorst was not ideal starter for this game but Martial injured.

Martial isn't injured, but probably would have been if he'd come on

I'll leave the Mods to deal with this. Cheers

Very important win. Fecking hate palace.

Martinez and Varane excellent as usual. In fact everyone was good until the red card.

Missed the game but the fact that we held on for 20+ minutes while down to 10 surely speaks volumes about how far we've come under Ten Hag. That would've been capitulation in previous years

It very nearly was a capitulation. From the red we had 10 mins of very very dodgy moments. The subs worked perfectly and that’s what saw us over the line. We handled the game perfectly from about the 85th and the 7 mins injury time

Please do, I'd very much like to discuss your ridiculous accusations with them.
I'm not sure you understand the basics of the English language. I haven't "accused" you of anything. I quoted what you said verbatim and then asked how you would have described any of the other players in the same fashion.

I didn't find your comment offensive, just genuinely don't understand how its acceptable to describe a player in the manner you did.

As I said earlier, I'll leave it to the Mods.

Cheers

Could be a big three points in the circumstances, looked like it was going to be a fairly comfortable win with us not really getting out of third gear but the red card made the last 20 minutes a nail biter especially with them scoring straight after. Martinez MOTM and Sabitzer showed some a couple of nice touches in his short time on the pitch.

As for the sending off, I mean you shouldn't put your hands around someone's throat but ''violent conduct'' is a bit laughable for that to be fair.

Why the feck would we want retrospective bans for Palace players? They are playing Brighton (6th), Brentford (7th) and Liverpool next.

Your lex is daft.

I see, thanks. Guess a bit of a wobble is to be expected, especially after the late goal against them last time. Good to hear we managed it well in the end though. Feels like coming out of that with 3 points could be a massive confidence boost for the lads
