Let this be an end to weghorst starting, rashford up front may not be the ideal scenario but it is far better as an attacking threat as seen yesterday with him leading the attack over wout

Have we gone back to Ole ball? Shoot from wherever we are on pitch? Dalot 2 or 3 shots, Antony, a lot, rashford a few. What happened to playing the ball into the box supported by runners?

Saying that, I'm happy with the result, you can see this team is not the finished article but given what could have happened, 1 0 against a team that had only lost 5 times this year is very good. Hopefully a springboard to win the next game whilst Newcastle have Brentford away. We have to beat them to 3rd.

Huge win vs a team that is obviously tough to defeat.

I was very happy with Dalot, I thought he played like he did earlier in the season. Also, big shout to Malacia who did well coming in for Shaw (who of course got hurt after signing his contract, stay off the pies Luke!).

McTominay did an awesome job, good to see with all the hate he gets on here.

Everton with that shitehouse Dyche will be a tough one too.

Yeah think we should stick with this until Martial is ready to start games again

3 points. That’s what it’s all about these days. Would take the same result against Everton without hesitation .
Save the pyrotechnics for the Cups.

I thought Sancho did pretty well actually. Rashford looks sharp, great to see. McT and Sabitzer were the big pluses. Also seeing Martial getting back to fitness, Dalot doing well. All this stuff about a modern keeper... well DDG is a great shot-stopper, and has clearly been working on his distribution and his control of the ball. Did great last night killing and controlling a mad volley sent back his way by I think Dalot.

I've only seen the brief MOTD highlights and the one vision from the game that sticks in my mind is DDG almost gifting Toney a goal.
