Frustrating, know there was a reason why I was more confident beating City away then I was home to Forest and Bournemouth

I just hope we can get to 40 points. What an absolute shitshow of a team. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we get relegated.

Finishing was a joke. We actually finished the first half well, but once again a sluggish start to the 2nd half and the game's gone. A bit of pressure, then the collapse. This is a massive wake up call,

Bad luck, mentally weak players and some questionable refereeing versus a very well drilled team. It happens

So fecking fed up. So pissed off that we follow up the win at Etihad with two shiteshow performances to set us back again. I know it's a tricky season be fecking seriously. How can we not go on a positive run after beating City?
Because the manager is for some reason, hellbent on swapping and changing the team every game. How are we supposed to build any consistency when that's happening?

What a load of shite  No positives, to think our standards have fallen so low that we are now mid table level. Wonder where we'd be if we had stuck with Mourinho for all these years.

We were the better team, the narrative won’t say that, but it’s true, we just cannot finish chances for shit. Our front line is nowhere near good enough. We need to prioritise a top striker.

It was never a 0-3 game. We just gifted them the goals.

But I don't think striker is the issue. It's the wingbacks and the other no. 10 other than Amad.

Before the game.

"I think Manchester United are different," said Andoni Iraola, whose side won the equivalent game 3-0 last season.

Different day, different year and different United manager but same old shite.

United still haven't won back to back Premier league games this season, and in the bottom half of the table at Christmas for the first time since 1989 embarrassing stuff for a once great club.

That was a really really sad performance. I want to get angry but I am just so fecking disappointed. As bad a performance I have seen from this bunch. They can't pass the ball, They can't win the ball, They can't defend corners, They can't take corners, They can't shoot the ball, They can't head the ball, They can't win headers, Poor touches all over the field, lack of desire, lack of skill, lack of intelligence. It was a pathetic fecking display.

fecking disheartening. Just wants you to give up.

Horrific. Will take ages to excise the mountain of shite , hopeless huddys, ten Hag has left us with.

We have to accept the reality that we are a mid table team, we rarely field an 11 significantly better than the opposition and have a group of players devoid of pace and athleticism.

Amorim made some bad decisions today but too many defensive errors and just very little attacking quality from the players. It’s going to be a long and crap season.

Look at the stats. I know the result was really bad and fair earning win for Bournemouth. But we had so many sitters and easy goals if our players could shoot.

Once again so many brain dead individual mistakes.

Can’t see any of the Dutch or ex Ajax players to be good enough for a top team in PL. Our prior manager have cost us many years of pain before we have sold the players again

We just continue to give the ball away, make basic defensive mistakes and waste good chances.

Hardly the foundations to success.

Malacia is finished. The referee's conduct is very suspicious. Calling back fouls when United have significant good scoring positions.

Lots of positives but I know it doesn’t feel like it. We were mostly in control, created a lot of chances which is encouraging, and the result doesn’t capture how the game went.

For the issues, we can’t seem to finish. We were wasteful under ETH and that still continues. We still can’t defend set pieces, and our defence is prone to brain farts, which has now extended to Maz.

I don’t know how a team becomes more clinical other than bringing in more clinical players. Until we do that, we will consistently “win” in all the metrics and ultimately lose the games.

Before ANY of you start with the goddamned "go back to 4 at the back" bullshit, think about what absolute garbage we've been for years with 4 at the back. Think about it, stop yourselves from writing inane shit on here and just accept that we have to learn Amorim's system the way he wants it. No ifs, no buts, no maybes.

Now that's out the way, I want some of you to keep in mind that in the last 6-7 games, despite all things, we have managed to keep the opposition xG to under 1 per game, so, when you start criticising our defending in general, keep in mind that we have been well organised defensively since Amorim joined contrary to certain games having the opposition score as a result of individual mistakes and few quality chances.

This game was garbage, yes, but the solution is to keep playing the system that has allowed us to limit the opposition to less than 1 xG per game. We clearly need better players, and this will come in time. There's no shortcut to this.

Tough to pick much positive out of that one, other than to say - this is just how its going to be sometimes this season. Amorim has quite rightly decided to put our focus on the fundamentals. At times it will work, other times it won't. Today it didn't.

I don't see any reason to change the approach - it's not like we were doing well under the last guy - and I still think the basic idea behind his approach to the game is where we need to be. Its just going to take time to get there, and we'll have to take a few more gut punches along the way.

System is fine ,the players in the system though are shite.
There are maybe 3/4players that we should look to keep.
Zirkzee and Malacia are not top level players.

Just seen the 2nd goal, absolute garbage defending all round.

No urgency when the ball was lost from Mainoo.

Clear the decks. We've got many players who are too dumb to play football and many others who are too old to survive another rebuild. No more 5ft7-8s in defense, no more players walking on the pitch or getting bullied by athletic players and for god sake, strikers need to score goals.

Sticking with EtH in the summer continues to pay dividends

Amorim wants to play one way, but we don't have the squad for it right now. Limping towards Jan, with nothing left in the coffers, it's a recipe for disaster honestly.

If we'd made the change in summer (pre window), things could be different, but as it is... strap yourselves in, this will get bumpy

Some really, really poor players.

Lets hope we can back Amorim in January a little at least to try and phase out some of the trash.

Agreed with this. Our offensive players in particular really are awful. Diallo has real potential but the rest... Really hard to justify their place in the squad right now.

It’s clear since yesterday especially that city have given up. Under normal circumstances it seems they probably would have picked us off as we went looking for an equaliser. Anyway it doesn’t matter now. Bournemouth were way more clinical than us. Their forwards used the ball far better than ours and then all they had to do was crowd the box out. Easy days work for them. Very disappointing but not at all unexpected. We’ve much harder games than this coming up too.

We can't blame the manager when we keep missing chances. And the worst part? 3 individual defending mistakes that cause us the game again.

1) 1st goal Zirkzee's defending was comical
2) 2nd goal was a very poor penalty conceded by Mazraoui
3) 3rd goal Martinez should mark the player.
